Kelty Wayback 20 Sleeping Bag Review: A Flannel Throwback for the Most Cushy Camps
As a self-proclaimed maximalist, I adore ultralight equipment — because I can carry more of it. I’ve become accustomed to my various ultralight mummy bags, so testing the Kelty Wayback 20-Degree Sleeping Bag felt like being spoiled — like slipping into custom boots after years of rocking a size too small. Powerful Grip, Slide-Out Tray: Küat Grip 6 Ski and Snowboard Rack Review
Vehicle space on a ski trip is in high demand, often leaving no space for skis inside your car. The roof is a great place to store skis or snowboards to and from the mountain, and it can even look good on your vehicle. Some challenges come with a roof rack, too — but fortunately, the Küat Grip 6 Ski and...

I Ran a Mile in Waders: SITKA Delta VentLite GTX Zip Wader Review
Why on earth is SITKA creating another wader? I asked myself. I had just reviewed a revamped Delta Pro Zip GTX Wader, so hearing about the release of another high-end wader — the SITKA Delta VentLite GTX Zip Wader ($1,500) — a few months behind, left me scratching my head. There had to be a good reason for it, or...
Shredding in ‘ChaCha Land’: Nikolai Schirmer Gears Up & Hits Slopes in Georgia
The Caucasus Mountains in Georgia are a secret magnet for skiers willing to go the distance. The mountains are reminiscent of Alaskas, the snow is supposedly better than Japans, and the crowds are totally nonexistent. Thats what drew Nikolai Schirmer, Lucas Wachs, and Sam Favret so far off the beaten path. In ChaCha Land, these three pro skiers head to...

Dual BOA Balances Comfort, Performance: Salomon S/Pro Supra 120 Ski Boots Review
Are two BOA dials better than one on ski boots? If you’re a skier who struggles with hotspots, loses feeling in your feet, and has difficulty getting into boots, the dual BOA version of Salomon’s medium-volume S/Pro Supra 120s might help you find peace. Salomon tried BOA two seasons ago on its S/Pro Supra line with a dial on the...
