Akka Forester's Axe
Hults Bruk
Akka Forester's Axe
$209.00
Description

If you want an axe which can handle clearing a campsite and other camp chores but don't want to be constrained by the small size of a hatchet, the Akka is the best for you.

The Akka features a curved 24 inch American hickory handle paired with a 1.5 lb. axe head for exceptional leverage and power in a lightweight package. The straight flat-ground edge and finger notch near the neck make carving tasks a joy. With a total weight of just 2.2-lb., the Akka is ideal for overnight wilderness trips and fantastic for clearing forest trails. The cutting edge is approximately 3.125-inches in length. Note: all Hults Bruk axes are hand forged, so there may be slight variations from axe to axe.

  Hults Bruk Standard Axes

Axes in this series are anything but standard, providing the same quality, hand-forged Swedish steel and American hickory handles, but with a more rustic, unrefined finish. These axes are superbly designed and perform incredibly, yet represent a meaningful value to anyone who desires the quality of a Swedish steel axe at a competitive price. Each Standard Series axe comes with a leather mask that secures to the axe blade with an adjustable leather lace and storage box.
