Alpine Bivi
$207.96
Description

When weight and space are at a premium, the Rab Alpine Bivi enables you to sleep virtually anywhere.

The air-permeable 15D Pertex Shield Air fabric is engineered with nanoscale fibers for radically reduced condensation and a drier, more comfortable night.

The outer fabric has waterproof protection of 15,000mm HH, alongside air permeability of 0.8 CFM. The tent features a waterproof bathtub base with taped seams providing reliable protection against water ingress when compressed. It also features a wide zipped entry with storm flap which enables you to stay protected in all weather.

While the bag measures 230cm in length and 80cm at the shoulder, the sculpted cut reduces the all-in weight to just 440g. With carry-friendly packed dimensions of 25cm x 12cm, it’s the ideal way to stay fast, free and agile on multi-day alpine expeditions.

Heading outside is supposed to be an escape from reality. An opportunity for us to let go for a little while and wander around in the woods, down by the river, or even hanging off the side of a cliff with chalk-covered hands. But without the safety net of modern amenities, and being that we’re in the company of wild...

The original Ioniq 5 crossover now has company, with the addition of the Ioniq 6 sedan and, debuting at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 9 SUV. With the Ioniq 9,...
Renowned Photog Turns ‘Brokenness Into Superpower’: Books Examine Mental Health in Outdoors
Most photographers spend their lives hidden behind the camera. While their subjects might be rendered iconic through a careful balance of light and composition, the images creators usually keep themselves on the dark side of the shutter. But Cory Richards took the most important image of his career when he turned the camera on himself. Youve probably seen it. Its...

TWR Supercat Supercharges a Classic XJS Into the Future
In the 1980s and 1990s, Tom Walkinshaws TWR was one of the kings of car racing in Europe. Synonymous with racing Jaguars, the company won the World Sportscar Championship multiple times and took home multiple wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and 24 Hours of Daytona. The partnership was so strong that TWR started developing Jaguar road cars...
All the Cooler Power You Really Need: Dometic CFX2 45 Review
Dometics CFX2-powered cooler models have significantly lower prices than their CFX3 counterparts. Our test sample is the 45L size, with an MSRP of $800. The CFX3 of the same capacity sells for $950. Dometic electric coolers still cost a significant chunk of change. But ditching ice has many advantages that expand as the time you stay out there grows longer....
2025 Chevrolet Silverado HD Trail Boss Review: Not Quite a ZR2, but That’s the Whole Point
For model year 2025, Chevrolet added the Trail Boss package as an option for the 2500-class Silverado Heavy Duty. Similar to the 1500 Silverado, the 2500 Trail Boss includes Z71 suspension upgrades, blacked-out bumpers with red recovery hooks, and 20-inch wheels shod in all-terrain tires. A gas V8 comes standard, but the torque-monster Duramax diesel adds towing capacity. This helps...

JJ Harrison is the only person at a rodeo who is supposed to get hit by the bulls. As the clown, he’s responsible for everyone’s safety. The crowd loves him. It’s a good life—even if it hurts a little. Then over the summer, with JJ in the ring, a bull named Party Bus jumped the fence at the rodeo in...

A Fixed Blade for EDC: Benchmade Dacian Belt Knife Review
Overall, Benchmade is a top-notch knife brand with a tactical, outdoor focus. However, with a few new releases, it seems to be experiencing a brand metamorphosis. If you look at its Bugout line, there are recently released wild color combinations like a black-coated blade with burnt brass handle scales and an electric blue thumb stud. Moving into the Shootout line...
3 of the Most Wonder-Filled Night Adventures on Earth
In 2010, a camping trip to the Sahara opened my eyes to the magic of the night sky. I was a college junior spending the summer abroad in Morocco, and until then I’d never seen the Milky Way, let alone a meteor shower, due to light pollution back in my suburban hometown of Dayton, Ohio. But that night, tucked into...
