Description

The Dagger OSMO 2P is the quintessential one-tent-wonder: lightweight enough for backpacking, yet roomy enough for comfort on any adventure. Dagger OSMO™ is one of the first tents in NEMO's iconic backpacking collection to feature their new proprietary OSMO™ fabric with advanced water repellency that lasts 4X longer and keeps you drier from start to finish.

This composite fabric has 3x less stretch when wet, reducing sag and maintaining wind and rain shedding in any weather. OSMO fabrics are completely PFC- and PFAS-free, meet fire retardancy standards without the use of added chemicals, and are woven from 100% recycled yarns. With additional design features for convenience and durability, Dagger OSMO sets the standard for a balance of performance and thoughtful design.

Carrying forward the legacy features of its best-selling predecessor, Dagger OSMO includes a color-coded, DAC Featherlite NSL hubbed pole structure for generous interior volume and a fast, intuitive setup. With two doors and two expansive trapezoidal vestibules, Dagger OSMO leads its category for storage area and volume. NEMO has also added some new features such as: the Divvy Cube™ rectangular stuff sack which packs better and allows you to split the load with a partner; the Landing Zone™ tub for protected storage under the vestibule; and Gatekeeper™ door clips which make holding the doors back a cinch. Other thoughtful features include an overhead Nightlight Pocket™ headlamp diffuser for a comfortable glow at night, gear pockets for storage of personal items, and a 100% recycled Repreve™ pole bag that protects the poles and takes the place of unnecessary poly bags. When your adventures require one tent to rule them all, Dagger OSMO delivers increased performance and versatility — and reduced impact on the planet.

Outdoor Brands Doubling Down on Used Gear to Offset Tariffs, Consumer Sentiment
This summer, Utah-based DPS Skis launched an eyebrow-raising expansion of its resale program. Instead of just repairing its own skis for online credit, the small company will now issue credits for a used ski of any brand. Its rare for brands to repair products from competitors — especially in the ski industry. Moreover, DPSs expanded repair program is unlikely to...
RallyCrew: The Whitewater Community’s New Digital Eddy
Since the popular Boatertalk forum shuttered in 2020, there hasnt been a central meeting point for whitewater paddlers. But, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, a new home for the whitewater community will be available to all. Its called RallyCrew. The whole idea behind RallyCrew is to create a global platform for whitewater paddlers — kayakers, canoeists, rafters, packrafters, and SUPers...
Too Good to Be True? BikeOn Unveils ‘CycleClick’ Clip-On Power Meter
This story was originally published on Bikerumor. BikeOn is shaking up the power meter world with the launch of CycleClick, a compact, clip-on device that claims pro-level power metrics with no tools, no crank swaps, no fuss. Whats the catch? Its a wild design that connects to the chain and pulls all the data from the movement of the chain...
Smart Design Upgrades, Easy Access, All-Day Comfort: Mystery Ranch Updates the Glacier Backpack
It doesn’t matter how long you’ve spent walking in the woods; you inevitably have a favorite pack. It’s comforting, familiar, and the one you go back to repeatedly. Admittedly, I was reticent to give up on my favorite pack and put on Mystery Ranch’s Glacier pack. I was delighted when I realized this pack provides all my favorite features, plus...
The Jeep Cherokee Is Back
The 2026 Jeep Cherokee gets a much more modern look while maintaining visual ties to its past. It also debuts with a first-ever hybrid engine, promised to deliver as much as 500 miles on a tank of gas. Struggling to get its balance back after suffering a series of self-inflicted wounds, Jeep is about to fill what has been a...
Car Shopping? Now You Can eBay It: ‘Secure Purchase’ Promises All You Need, No DMV
The joys of buying a new car often give way to the many headaches of … actually buying the car. Negotiating price, pinning down financing, and navigating the worlds of tax, title, and license all take a bite out of the fun of finding your next vehicle. While the days of plaid-suited used car salesmen and balloon-addled new car showrooms still...
The Best Bow Cases of 2025
A bow case is a gear item that I think gets neglected, which is a shame. We invest so much into our bows and the fancy accessories we slap on them. To ignore their safe transport is to neglect their overall well-being and longevity of functionality. Whether traveling to hunt in my home state or crossing state lines, I’ve done...

$30 Raffle Ticket Could Land You a One-of-a-Kind Gravel Bike, and Helps Repair National Forest
If youve never visited Pisgah National Forest outside of Asheville, N.C., youre missing out on a special place. With rich offerings of hiking, camping, and cycling, its beloved by locals for good reason. But maintaining such a wealth of outdoor recreation isnt cheap —especially after the widespread damage caused by Hurricane Helene last year. Luckily, a new nonprofit emerged just...
The Gear PCT Thru-Hikers Are Loving (And Ditching) This Year
It isn’t that hard to find them in town. Thru-hikers are predictable — more animal-like in behavior than town and city folk. Burger stands are typical spotting grounds. Any cheap motel with the door wide open and sink-washed laundry on the railing is a likely habitat. Natural shade lures them in. But the annual PCT Days is a next-level draw...
The Wildest Spot in the Lower 48?
Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks grab the headlines, but when it comes to raw nature, the jewel of Montana is the 1 million-acre Bob Marshall Wilderness. “The Bob,” as it’s affectionately called, was named for legendary conservationist Bob Marshall, who cofounded the Wilderness Society. No paved roads bisect The Bob, an area larger than Rhode Island, making it a vast...
