Disco Endless Promise 15 - Women's
$319.95 - $349.95
Description

The reigning favorite down bag for backpackers, the women's Disco 15 features the best-of-all-worlds Classic Spoon™ silhouette for ultimate side-sleeping comfort. NEMO’s iconic Spoon bags are cut generously at the elbows and knees so campers can shift positions comfortably throughout the night, but shave unnecessary weight so gear still packs up light. The Classic Spoon is the sweet spot of the line, balancing packability with plush, roomy comfort.

Disco includes a set of next-generation Thermo Gill™ vents on the chest to offer fine-tuned temperature control and a better outdoor sleeping experience. Each Gill features an interior and an exterior zipper with a draft-blocking intermediate layer, allowing several different configurations for dialing in the bag’s temperature without direct exposure to cold air. NEMO's Blanket Fold™ draft collar at the neckline features a redesigned size and shape to further optimize sleep temperature. Tucked in, the Blanket Fold defiantly blocks any chill while mimicking the comfort of your bed at home. Pushed out, it helps dump excess heat instantly. Finally, Disco’s revamped design has baffles insulated with water-resistant, RDS-certified down, placed vertically along the torso for comfort and aligned horizontally below the waist to prevent down migration.

Along with this suite of top features, Disco now boasts the purpose-driven Endless Promise® designation, meaning it was designed specifically to stay out of the landfill and on the trail, forever. With a shell manufactured fully from PET, this sleeping bag is 100% recyclable at the end of its life — just send it back to NEMO, and they’ll handle the rest.

Want to Recline Your Airplane Seat? Read This First.
The next time I’m on a flight where someone reclines their airplane seat, I’m going to lose my shit. It seems like I’m always seated behind the person who feels no qualms about reducing my sliver of space to nil. Forget working on my laptop or eating a meal with their seat back crammed in my face. I think this...

Colorado’s I
Originally, I had a vision. It involved getting into a car with strangers. The idea struck me a few weeks before I left for Colorado, where I was going to report on the state’s notorious Interstate 70 traffic. Each winter, I-70 makes headlines and stymies skiers attempting to drive from Denver and the urban Front Range to the dozen or...
11 Remote Destinations That Are Definitely Worth the Effort to Visit
The hike was hot and brutal. My wife and I started on the edge of Sabana de la Mar, a village in the Dominican Republic, after breakfast and drove our rental car until the road ended. Is It Safe to Travel to Mexico, Jamaica, and the Bahamas?
I want to go somewhere warm for spring break, but the places I’ve been considering—Jamaica, the Bahamas, and Mexico—either have concerning travel-advisory reports or have been making headlines for recent crimes. I can’t stop thinking about the tourist who was shot and killed in Tulum. Now Im nervous. Is this just sensationalist news, or should I really avoid traveling to...
Why People in Sweden Do Nature Right
Back in the 1980s, my left-leaning dad used to joke at the dinner table that if a certain right-leaning President were re-elected, we would be moving to Sweden. In his mind, the country of his forebears was an egalitarian society of hale and hearty outdoor people who lived among nature and cared deeply about the welfare of others. My dad...

The Best of Yellowstone
It’s often said that the national parks are America’s best idea. No argument here. And it all started with designating Yellowstone National Park, a particular stroke of genius. This remarkable landscape of hot springs, geysers, and incredible wildlife became the country’s first national park in 1872, starting a revolution in protecting special landscapes in the United States and around the...
