Upland Hunting Knife Fight! MKC Sharptailed vs. Benchmade Flyway
Seeing double? Not quite. However, the MKC Sharptailed looks suspiciously like one of our favorite knives ever, the Benchmade Flyway. What we have here are two upland knives with similar builds and very similar looks, tasked with the same specialty. Sure, I could give you a straight-up review of the Sharptailed and skirt around the elephant in the room, but...
Born Out of Frustration: See How Liv Cycling Became the Leader in Women’s Bikes
When Bonnie Tu stirred the leaders of the largest bike manufacturer in the world to start a women-only brand, males dominated cycling as a sport and industry. It was decades before there was a Tour De France Femmes. And women most often made do with smaller versions of mens bikes and cycling gear. Not only was cycling and manufacturing male-dominated,...

The Indy Pass has been steadily growing in the last 5 years, adding mountains every season and usually selling out of passes early. On October 23, it announced that it was adding a whopping 30 new resorts to its lineup ahead of the 2024/25 ski season, including Loveland Ski Area in Colorado and Innsbruck in Austria. That brings the total number...
Segway’s ZT3 Pro Is the Adventure Mobile We’ve Been Waiting For
They say stress is the silent killer. Not so silent? The blaring horns and eeking brakes that dominate Los Angeles’ roadways on any given afternoon. While L.A. traffic is a colossal cliché, the frequency that a 4-mile journey winds up taking 40 minutes has undoubtedly shaved minutes off my life. With urban congestion on the rise and major cities like...

Speedy Foot Fortresses Cruise Over Nasty Terrain: The North Face Summit Series Offtrail TR Shoes Review
As the snow started swirling around and caking the rocky trail in an icy rime, the possibility of a slip, followed by a 1,000-foot fall, quickly jumped to the top of my mind. We were ascending a semi-technical trail in Switzerland during a September cold snap. Thankfully, my wife had metal microspikes attached to her trail runners. I had The...
