Glow GwII Quilt 35F (Fall 2023)
$198.95 - $208.95
Description

The Sea to Summit Glow GwII Quilt is a lightweight summer quilt with synthetic insulation ideal for damp conditions. A drawcord pulls the foot end together into a foot box for cooler nights, and three adjustable straps keep the quilt secured to your sleeping mat.

Quilts are perfect for weight-conscious backpackers. The lack of a zipper and hood reduces weight and packed volume, and the broad cut provides freedom of movement. Sea to Summit quilts feature the QuiltLock system which allows quilts to connect to a Sea to Summit sleeping bag, adding an extra season of warmth.

Sleeping pad and sleeping bag sold separately.

Triathlon clothing: What should I wear for a triathlon?
Wearing the right triathlon clothing for your race can be a game changer. Not only will it allow you to save time during the transitions, but it’ll help you feel comfortable on the day and focus on what’s important. With so many options, plus the added complication of three disciplines, it can be difficult to know where to start. Elise...
Helvellyn Triathlon: Race info, tips and training advice
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Lake District, home to some of the country’s most brutal climbs, the Helvellyn Tri has built up a reputation as one of, if not the, most testing triathlon challenges in the UK. Both Brownlees have conquered the course, in 2007. Although Jonny was too young to take part, his father was happy for...
Why you should reflect on every race
As you move through race season, don’t forget to identify the strengths and weaknesses of every individual performance in order to improve your overall strategy and reduce the finish times. Race experience leads to enhanced performance, or at least it should. And much of that experience, itself, comes from taking part in regular racing events. Each year, our technical performance...
Ironman triathlon: how long does it take to train for one if you're starting from scratch?
To do an Ironman safely, your body needs three years plus of endurance training, which may include marathons, long-distance cycle sportives and triathlons. This will also see you train through two winters. Your longest phase is always base and your shortest phase is your final peaking phase. If you miss the solid, consistent block and foundation of base training, which...

Though following a similar carbohydrate template to the other distances, you might want to consume some protein to stimulate the post-race muscle process. Take five-time Ironman world champion Daniela...
15 ways to end your season on a high
If April is apparently the cruellest month (maybe T.S. Eliot was thinking about that fallow period between the end of the duathlon season and start of the tri calendar), then September is our favourite month for triathlon racing in the UK. There’s that softer bucolic light, the warm – but not too warm – autumnal sunshine and some truly classic...
The art of pacing: How to pace your next race to perfection
Kat Matthews looked to have climbed from the canvas for a thrilling comeback victory in the recent Pho3nix Sub8 Project. But the reality belies a more introspective approach to pacing we can all learn from. Once a pass happens late in an iron-distance marathon, the vanquished rarely recovers. So, for any fan of the sport, the drama towards the end...

The best bike sessions to do in winter
Many people assume you should be riding long and slow over the winter. But is this right? Strict, steady winter base training can be effective for professional riders, who can log 30-hour plus weeks. The sheer volume they’re able to do provides the training stimulus and gives them the deep base of endurance fitness they require for the heavy racing...
