Keron 4 GT
Hilleberg
Keron 4 GT
$1,660.00
Description

Maximum strength and living space; 4-season

When Hilleberg first introduced the Keron, it quickly became the standard tent for polar expeditions because of its superb durability and excellent wind stability, its roomy interior, and its simplicity. These same traits have made the tent a favorite of outdoor enthusiasts of every kind, including professionals such as mountain guides, forest rangers, search and rescue teams, and military special operations units.

At the same time, the Keron 4 GT is also an excellent choice for families, hikers and “regular” users – anyone wanting a tent that is exceptionally sturdy yet relatively light in weight, that will work for any situation, and that will handle many years of use. Indeed, the Keron 4 GT is an admirable choice for any backcountry adventure, from demanding, extended winter expeditions, to long or short rambles in mountains and/or forests, to casual coastal jaunts, to relaxed overnight camping outings in your local recreation area.

The Keron 4 GT is also a fine choice for dog mushers and cycle tourers because its extra large vestibule allows plenty of storage space for sled or bike equipment. In fact, you can park two bicycles in its vestibule!

A note on colors: Fabric dyes have natural variations, so the actual tent color may look slightly different from what is pictured here.

Footprint sold separately.

Making Thanksgiving Dinner Doesn’t Have to be Stressful. Here’s What You Need to Know.
I used to have a recurring dream in which I’m sitting on my mat awaiting instructions from a panel of my yoga teachers. I’m at an Iyengar yoga assessment, for which I’m completely unprepared. Ready for Winter Adventures: Michelin X-Ice Snow Tire Review
It’s 23 degrees and snowing hard. It’s the first good snow of the winter and there’s 6 inches of fresh powder on top of what was clear, rain-slicked pavement just a few days ago. The outlook for the next couple of months is a continuation of the same, with small warming breaks between storms. That can make winter driving conditions...

BeerJunkie 2-for-1: Dortmunder Gold Lager & Gunner’s Daughter Milk Stout Review

GoPro HERO13 Review: Cinema-Quality Features and a Few Frustrations
“Can you hit that jump again?” I ask photographer Brooks Curran, who, I’m discovering, is also a very talented mountain biker. “Yeah, no problem, he responds, undeterred by how massive these dirt jumps are. The last time he went off the jump, I missed the shot with the GoPro HERO13’s new burst slo-mo feature. That was OK, though, because Brooks...

Durston Customers Turn Brand Loyalty Into Cult-Like Devotion
Author’s note: I do not mean to minimize the negative effects that actual cults have had on many people. Please take the following with the levity with which it was penned. “I don’t know what you mean by “cult,” just because I own 3 Durston tents and am saving for another …” — Rob Rice, posted on the Durston Gearheads...
What Does It Take to Ski 3 Million Vertical Feet? We Asked Noah Dines.
When skier Noah Dines answered my phone call in late November, he was skinning up a 400-vertical foot stretch of artificial snow at Waterville Valley Resort in central New Hampshire. Anyone who skis uphill at a resort knows the activity is pretty uninspiring, akin to running on a treadmill, but Dines didnt care—he was chasing a record. If you caught...
