Mesh Box 20
Hilleberg
Mesh Box 20
$655.00
Description

  Spacious, lightweight, versatile bug protection

For those who prefer summer camping with a tarp, and for trekkers in tropical and sub-tropical areas, a major issue is always the bugs. Hilleberg's Mesh Box shelters provide the solution. The Mesh Box 20 is a superb minimalist’s summer tarp camping solution. The palatial Mesh Box 20 has a generous, full standing height and matches up with the Tarp 20 (sold separately). It will comfortably sleep 4 to 6 people or provide a gathering area for quite a few more. The Mesh Box 20 has full mesh ceilings, allowing for sky viewing when used without a tarp. The Mesh Box 20 is floorless and the lower part of the walls are silicon-coated fabric, both to protect the mesh from catching or tearing on the ground, and to provide a good “seal” on uneven terrain. It is easily suspended from rings, and pairing with tarps is straightforward.

Note: The Mesh Box does not come with any pegs or poles.

Footprint sold separately.

He started surfing as a young teen, got into trouble, dropped out of high school, had encounters with the police, and generally lived the true, authentic life of a Japanese punk surfer. Much of his world has revolved around the ocean since...

And, of course, they can improve the appearance of your truck or SUV...
Electric Van Life Rallying: Massive VW ID. Buzz Euro Adventure
The great thing about traveling with a van (we’re still using the term “van life,” right?) is the freedom to live and work out of your vehicle and move from place to place. As long as you’ve got fuel in the tank and food in the fridge, you can keep on going. But, what if your van was powered by...
First Take Review: GOSO Cookware Everywhere Pan
The first time Brent Firkser, founder of GOSO Cookware, showed up at a communal potluck, I knew we would be friends for life. He loves to cook; I love to eat. It was a match made in heaven. On that rainy December night on the West Coast, Brent had biked over in the freezing rain, never one to let a...

Filson Relaunches Work Jacket With One of the Toughest Materials Around
The Filson Tin Cloth line has become somewhat legendary among the team here at GearJunkie — and among most whove used it. The waxed, waterproof, snag-resistant, and impossibly tough canvas material will outlast its wearer if its properly cared for. This fall, Filson is relaunching one of its flagship Tin Cloth products, the Field Jacket ($425), in a brand new color:...
‘Save Sweetwater Lake’: Controversy Hangs Over Colorado’s Newest State Park
The best view of Sweetwater Lake is from the tall rock outcrop on its north side. From there, you can see the twinkling water below, the raptors nesting cliffs, the horseback stables of AJ Brink Outfitters, and the adjacent historical buildings that once housed true Western outlaws. You can even make out the trail across the lake that leads back...
Zip Into Comfort: Marmot Women’s Guides Down Hoody Review
As a frequent belayer and pretty short lady, I always appreciate a cropped down jacket that doesn’t sacrifice warmth or style. Which is why, when I received the Marmot Guides Down Hoody in the mail, I was stoked at its cushy loftiness and adjustable elements. The Guides Down Hoody is the quintessential puffy — it has massive baffles, a cushioned...
