QuickDraw 2L Filter System
Platypus
QuickDraw 2L Filter System
$74.95
Description

Building upon the original compact, fast and versatile performance of its 1L sibling, the Platypus QuickDraw 2L Filter System adds potential with a higher-volume dirty reservoir and more ways to customize your system with compatible vessels.

The 2L dirty reservoir is light and compact and will hold up to the rugged demands of a months-long thru-hike. Its wide-mouth opening and fill handle keep your hands dry and allow you to quickly fill it so you can keep moving. Like its predecessor, the dirty side I/O (inner/outer) threads attach to the QuickDraw reservoir as well as to standard narrow-mouth bottles like smartwater® and other Platy bottles.

On the clean side, select between the DrinkCap for drinking and pouring and the ConnectCap™ that screws onto narrow-mouth bottles and has a hose attachment point. The short hose is fitted with a quick connector that pairs with any hydration reservoir with a quick disconnect, allowing you to quickly squeeze your water directly into your reservoir without taking it out of your pack. Two cleaning methods—shake-to-clean and backflushing—keep the filter flowing fast throughout your trip, while the Integrity Check process allows you to ensure it’s still safely filtering water.

The QuickDraw 2L Filter system is the ultimate squeeze filter for pushing further and deeper into the backcountry.

Video: Smart Layering Kept Me Cozy at Mount Everest Base Camp
The trek to Mount Everest Base Camp is the ideal setting to test gear, due to the rugged terrain, tough living conditions, and massive fluctuations in temperature. 2026 Nissan Leaf Grows From an Entirely New Tree
The 2026 Nissan Leaf has gone through a massive transformation. A real leaf might turn from green to red in the fall, but the Nissan Leaf has been transformed from a quirky hatchback into a sleek crossover with Ariya-like styling. Its not exactly rugged, but it should be a lot more appealing to the large number of buyers looking for...

The Most Remote Places to Stay on Earth That Are Worth the Trek
Profound silence on the tundra in sub-Arctic Canada, the gunshot of a calving glacier heard from a tent in Greenlands backcountry, the reflection of snow-crowned peaks in a mirrored lagoon in the high plateau of Bolivia. Some of my most awe-inspiring travel experiences have been in the vast wilderness, where I felt humbled by the scale of time and space...

These Tripods Stand Above the Rest: Peak Design Pro Tripod Review

Ive also used some really nice tripods on shoots using Red Cameras in Alaskas Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) and elsewhere. But as soon as I got hold...
8 Great-Looking (and Smooth-Riding) Women’s Running Shoes for Travel
Runners who travel know a packing trick: Instead of cramming our bulky running shoes in our luggage, we wear them. We wear them on planes, trains, and car rides. We wear them to tour cities, countrysides, museums, galleries, and trails. While others suffer from blisters and fatigue in their sandals, loafers, or even stylish hiking boots, we think to ourselves,...
