How to Figure Out Your Foot Type, According to Podiatrists
Sometimes it can feel like you need a medical degree when shopping for shoes. Though many footwear companies now provide an arsenal of information on their running and hiking shoes, detailing features designed to match nearly every foot variation known to humans, most people don’t actually know what their foot type is. I get it: I had to get rid...
Packable, Pedal-Powered, and Fishing Tough: BOTE Rackham Aero Fischer Review
When I first saw the BOTE Rackham Aero Fischer, I thought, “That’s an inflatable paddleboard? No way!” I instantly knew I had to get my hands on one to test. It seemed like the perfect solution to my disdain for paddleboard fishing.    After BOTE shipped it to my doorstep, I’ve spent the latter half of the summer taking it fishing...

A lot of hardcore skiers pretend they don’t care about outerwear aesthetics. They’ll talk about breathability ratings and features and (maybe, under their breath) admit that they like the look of a ski jacket. Shockingly Capable Small, Electric SUV: 2026 Subaru Solterra EV Review
Im 8,000 feet high in the Rocky Mountains, and I smell horses. I carefully turn the steering wheel and navigate the 2026 Subaru Solterra EV through tightly spaced lodgepole pines, then over a steep drop. As I wind through the working ranch, I grow increasingly impressed by this car that I may have earlier called cute. No, its no truck....

Tremendous Talent for Tight Squeezes: CIVIVI Baby Banter 2 TG Review
Smaller knives, whether they’re fixed blades or folders, are appealing because their size lets them be discreet. However, the tradeoff in size reduction can be found in the knife’s inability to perform as well as a larger knife. At 5.5 inches, CIVIVI’s Baby Banter 2 TG could easily fall into that category. However, a few tweaks in design allow it...

Emily Harrington Opens Up on Her Epic El Cap Ascent and the Power of Being a ‘Girl Climber’
Emily Harrington wants to be clear: Shes just following in the footsteps of the women who redefined rock climbing. When Lynn Hill used just her hands and feet to scale all 3,000 feet of El Capitan in 1994, it was heralded as perhaps the most important ascent in the history of the sport, ushering in a new era of free climbing...
