Western Mountaineering
Sequoia Gore Infinium
$985.00 - $1,025.00
Description

  Semi-rectangular 5° F bag with a Gore Infinium shell.

The roomy Western Mountaineering Sequoia Gore Infinium has a highly water-resistant/breathable shell for extreme weather protection. This shell is the most water-resistant, windproof, and breathable fabric suitable for sleeping bags, and the down-filled collar and draft tube are also made with Gore Infinium to prevent moisture absorption and keep the wind out of your bag. The full collar completely surrounds your neck and is solidly stuffed with down to provide a protective seal from the heat-robbing bellows effect as you move about inside your bag. The continuous baffles allow you to adjust the down fill to suit the changes in weather, and its two zippers not only allow you to zip to mummy bags but also to unzip the foot so that it can lie out flat. The Sequoia is your best friend when you need elbow room in the most moisture-prone climates.

Like all of Western Mountaineering's bags, the Sequoia is made by hand in San Jose, California. Their down is sourced from free-range mother geese who are never live-plucked or force-fed.

The GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® series enhances quality and performance, combining versatile aspects of support and comfort without the need for total waterproof protection. Durable water resistance combined with increased breathability, better packability, and optimized lightweight elements are the defining features of this technology. GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® is totally windproof and provides highly water-resistant protection for unstoppable performance.

Rock Climbing Will Never Be the Same: Chalkless Keeps Hands Dry With a Single Application
Chalk is like air to rock climbers. We dip into our bag our bucket to keep our fingers and hands dry, but its also a reassuring habit. With a fresh layer of calcium carbonate dusting our fingertips, we know we are prepared to conquer the objective. Oh, and dont forget to stylishly blow the excess off, you know, for the...

A letter saying as much (shown below) was first posted in the MDOC: Mitsubishi Delica Owners Club USA Facebook group. The letter specifically states: “Michigan Department of State (MDOS) records indicate you were issued a...

BeerJunkie: Bissell Brothers Brewing ‘The Substance Ale’ IPA Review
Ol Paulie Pabst is back with a vengeance on this weeks BeerJunkie review. If you havent had the pleasure of visiting Portland, Maine, and its bevy of brickroad breweries, youre missing out! This New England destination somehow manages to be simultaneously trendy and quaint, and it punches well above its weight class with its craft beer offerings. And what better...
It’s a Cooler. It’s an Air Conditioner. It’s IcyBreeze
Of all the products Ive been skeptical of this year, this one might take the cake. The idea of a cooler that could function well as an air conditioner while still fully operating as a cooler seemed far-fetched. I had money on the fact that this thing would end up being a mediocre cooler and a less-than-mediocre air conditioner. I...

Performance and Durability in One Great Sport Climbing Shoe: Ocún Sigma Review
Czech climbing brand Ocún might not be on your radar, but its new shoe, the Sigma, proved why it should be. The aggressive, high-performance lace-up shoe was perfect for those looking to send harder projects outdoors. I tested the Ocún Sigma for months inside and outdoors on rugged Iowa limestone, primarily on sport routes, as that’s the shoes target discipline....
