Superalloy 3P
$381.38
Description

The Marmot Superalloy 3P is an ultralight, semi-freestanding backpacking tent with premium features. Its vertical walls provide plenty of sleeping space, while the strategic clip placement offers more interior volume for stretching out. If the forecast turns, the rain-shield flysheet won’t stretch out after it gets wet, plus it resists UV damage. Its vented seam-taped full-coverage fly and bathtub floor provide additional weather protection. Color-coded “easy pitch" clips and poles make it easy to set up quickly. Stash your pack, poles, and other gear in the two vestibules and tuck a headlamp into the lampshade pocket.

Footprint sold separately.

Why I Let My Kid Roam Free Outside
When I heard the news that a Georgia mom was arrested for reckless conduct after someone spotted her ten-year-old son walking alone less than a mile from home, the first thing I did was open Google Maps. I looked up the distance between my house and a nearby middle school that my six-year-old daughter sometimes walks to with a friend...

Mountain Comfort With a Caveat: Crispi Briksdal GTX Hunting Boot Review

There’s a wide range of possibilities and a wide range of boots to choose from. The Crispi Briksdal GTX...
Why You’re Hungrier When It’s Cold
I run year-round, but winter is by far my favorite time to go jogging. When it’s cold and crisp out, I can go much longer and harder, often doubling the length of my summertime routes. Afterward, I want nothing more than to eat like a bear preparing to hibernate for the winter. I always figured my increased appetite was merely...
The Best E-Bikes for Hunting in 2024
E-bikes have no doubt carved out a spot in the hunting industry. They are much quieter, more affordable, and easier to transport than something like a Side-by-Side (SxS) or ATV. And let’s not forget that e-bikes dont require fossil fuels. Whether it’s shortening travel time to a glassing spot or aiding with hauling meat out of the backcountry, our hunting...

The Best Heaters to Install in Your Rig This Winter
A very cold and wet camping experience a few weeks ago reminded me of the importance of a good heater in your rig. Upon arriving at camp, I discovered that one of my water jugs had leaked about two gallons of water onto the truck bed’s BedRug liner. Shortly after that, it started raining, which turned to snow a few...
I Refuse to Allow Taylor Knibb to Become an Internet Meme
These are strange times for Olympians. An athlete can win medal after medal, but should they be caught on camera in a compromising or hilarious situation, the ensuing tonnage of Internet memes will overshadow those accolades. Want proof? I dare you to Google French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati or Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikec. I fear that American Olympic triathlete Taylor...
