Western Mountaineering
TerraLite
$555.00 - $605.00
Description

Semi-rectangular 25° F bag ideal for side sleepers

The Western Mountaineering TerraLite sleeping bag is the latest addition to the Extremelite series; it's a wide down sleeping bag made for side sleeping comfort that allows you to bring your knees up or roll around. The TerraLite can be opened up into a flat comforter or mated with Western's mummy bags for versatility, but it's also very roomy and comfortable when zipped up, thanks to its wide girth through the middle of the bag. Despite the comfortable shape, this bag weighs less than two pounds.

Like all of Western Mountaineering's bags, the TerraLite is made by hand in San Jose, California. Their down is sourced from free-range mother geese who are never live-plucked or force-fed.

Footprint sold separately.

How Much Tire Sealant to Use? Free Tool Gives the Answer
With so much accuracy in performance and mechanical adjustments related to cycling, its curious that the same isnt true for the volume of tire sealant. There are suggestions on sealant bottles. But at best, they are very rough estimates of what amount of sealant will cover the entire interior surface of the tire and have enough left over to seal...

A Transceiver That Talks to You: Ortovox Diract Voice Beacon Review
Voice guidance is the real standout feature on this beacon, and for the most part, it works very well. In single and multiple burial scenarios, the Ortovox handled itself very well with quick processing and clear guidance, partly due to the voice assist and partly to its large LED screen with clear graphics. We also loved how the Ortovox Diract...

How the Outdoors Became the Ultimate Status Symbol
Earlier this fall, GQ’s Global Style Director, Noah Johnson, wrote an obituary for gorpcore: “[gorpcore] as a trend… is dead. Let it be known.” For the uninitiated, “gorpcore” uses an acronym for trail mix (“good old raisins and peanuts,” although that meaning is contested) to describe a style that involves wearing outdoorsy clothes as streetwear. The term, which has its origins in...
