Vapor Flatbed Barrel Harness
$134.96
Description

Barrel carrier for paddle trips or odd-shaped loads

Barrels have become popular as food containers for canoeists because they are waterproof, seal out food smells and are difficult for bears to break into. The Vapor Flatbed Barrel Harness is the most comfortable way to carry a barrel, a large dry bag or other odd loads from chainsaws to Jerry Cans. The padded hip belt features hip stabilizer straps and is available in several sizes for a custom fit. The wide shoulder straps feature a slider sternum strap and load lifter straps for the ultimate in comfort and adjustability. The padded bottom absorbs some of the impact and prevents scratches in your canoe and makes a great stool to sit on when turned upside down. Works with 30 liter or 60 liter barrels.

  Barrel not included.

Footprint sold separately.

My partner and I were camping on a friend’s land when he rolled up and found us testing the Yoshino Power B4000 SST. Like us, he’s a connoisseur of portable power stations, and I could tell from his inquisitive grin that he was already plotting ways to convince us to part with it. He was initially enamored because it doesn’t...

An Ode to the Relationships We Owe to the Outdoors
The outdoors have a way of delivering to us our soulmates. Sometimes, that’s a romantic partner, discovered on a mountain-summit meet-cute. I Worked Out Like 82-Year-Old Mick Jagger for a Week. Here’s What Happened.
Mick Jagger is 82 years old and on the Rolling Stones “Hackney Diamonds” tour. The shows run somewhere between two and two-and-a-half hours long. Jagger is running, gyrating, singing, and dancing at each one. I couldn’t help but notice that Jagger is in incredible shape—for a person at any age. How does he do it? And what would it feel...

These Are the 7 Best National Parks to Visit for Spring Break
Planning spring break is high pressure. You only get a one-week respite from school or work, and the timing, late March or early April, makes it tough to find a location with consistently good weather.
