$299.96
Description

Stripped-down, ultra-durable version of Osprey's classic backpacking pack

Osprey's stripped down, streamlined and svelte Aether Pro 70 is made for adventures that span days or months; alpine climbing expeditions with remote basecamps, or boundary-pushing thru-hikes through unknown landscapes where the only trail is the one you make. With one zipper and strengthened hardware, this pack provides worry-free dependability. NanoFly™ fabric integrates ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) ripstop and 210D Nylon, creating an incredibly light fabric with remarkable abrasion resistance. The hipbelt and harness are interchangeable, and the hipbelt can be custom molded to achieve a fit that's as perfect as this pack. No matter how far you go, the Aether Pro is backed by Osprey's All Mighty Guarantee, forever.

Cozy, Durable, Sustainably Made: Patagonia Women’s Fjord Flannel Review
I expect a lot from my flannels. For me, they are more than just a snug fashion statement. I also want mine to keep up on work days. While Patagonia is no stranger to high standards, I put its womens Fjord Flannel to the test. A worthwhile work flannel needs to be comfortable, help regulate body temperature, and allow for...
REI’s Big Annual Sale Is Still Going—These Are Our Favorite Deals
Memorial Day weekend is here, which means summer has unofficially begun. Can’t Fault the Pivot Vault: Simple Suspension Takes the Edge Off
Pivot launched its Vault in 2019, which didnt strike me as anything too different from what was already out in the gravel world. It had the normal-looking carbon frameset and understated visuals, so I didnt give it much thought. But Pivot lauded one small difference — an elastomer sleeve isolates the frame from the seat post. It is unique, patented,...

Shaved Ice Is the Planet’s Go-To Treat This Summer
The sound of shaving ice is unmistakable. The rasp, first pressed into the ice block, tense as a spring, suddenly surfs across the berg, scraping up a spume of glittering white snow as stray flecks flutter into the air. For some it may ring harsh, but under a blistering sun it signals imminent relief. Shikashika—that’s how Quechua communities near the...

IFMGA guide Vinayak Malla summited Mount Everest at 6 a.m. on the morning of May 21, the busiest summit day, with Elite Exped clients. The Easiest Way to Stay Sun-Safe Outside
Greasy, sunscreen-coated skin is a discomfort for many outdoor enthusiasts. The oily lotion on your hands makes it hard to grip rock, and the layer spread onto your arms and legs becomes a grit and dust magnet on hiking trails. But the sun doesn’t care what your plans are. If you don’t protect your skin while recreating outside, you’ll pay...
