Kodiak MF - Otter
$795.00 - $820.00
Description

Roomy and light wide-cut 0° F mummy bag

The Western Mountaineering Kodiak MF down sleeping bag will fit nearly any bear-sized person with its wide-cut mummy shape. Thirty ounces of premium 850+ down fill this 0° F bag with 7" of loft, and the continuous baffles allow you to shift the down to the underside or top side of the bag, making the Kodiak a versatile champ for any season. The draft tube and the Super Collar are amply filled with down to prevent heat loss around the neck or through the zipper. The Kodiak's MicroLite XP™ shell makes this bag stand firm against light moisture and precipitation. All this with a total weight of only 2 lbs. 12 oz (Reg size). The Kodiak is also available in a 7' length!

Color may vary slightly from product image.

Like all of Western Mountaineering's bags, the Kodiak MF is made by hand in San Jose, California. Their down is sourced from free-range mother geese who are never live-plucked or force-fed.

Footprint sold separately.

‘RIFF’: Dynastar Athletes’ First Ski Film Highlights an Incredible Stroke of Alaskan Luck
Sometimes, youve got to get through a little bit of bad luck to find your fortune. While making their first-ever Level 1 ski film, RIFF, Dillon Flinders and Alex Lundstrom learned that firsthand. After a late start, weird snowpack, and unplanned hurdles challenged their ski season, the two Dynastar athletes struck white gold in Alaska. Filmed in locations throughout Utah...

Utah Senator’s Latest Stunt: Use ‘Border Security’ to Gut Wilderness Act
If you’ve followed Senator Mike Lee for more than 5 minutes, his latest stunt won’t surprise you. The man has built an entire career out of trying to dismantle America’s public lands. Selling them off didn’t work. Handing them to states didn’t work. Gutting their funding didn’t work. So now, he’s getting creative. His newest masterpiece is called the Border...
A New Benchmark Flashlight: Fenix PD36R Ace Review
Powerful, nuanced, long-running, and durable, the PD36R series of flashlights has been my top choice for at least 2 years. Now, with a slight boost in power and a major change in the user interface, the PD36R Ace might be the best flashlight on the market today. It comes down to your choice in controls — tail switch versus side...
Coleman Cascade 18 Camp Stove Review: A Classic Cookset Gets a Minimalist Makeover
After a few years of using almost entirely canister, white gas, alcohol, or wood stoves, I’d forgotten the ease of just plugging a propane canister into a burner and scrambling up breakfast in a full-sized pan. That approachability is the very reason that Coleman’s Classic two-burner stoves are as popular as they are: open, plug in the propane, and get...
