Description

Built for fast ski tours, the Mammut Aenergy ST 20-25 lets you travel light and fast without compromising comfort or useful features. The carrying system is inspired by trail running vests. The load is kept close to the body to prevent it from bouncing around, while the anatomically shaped shoulder straps improve wearing comfort. An elastic chest strap ensures a firm fit while still allowing you to breathe easily. The front compression strap can be removed and worn as a hip belt.

Most of the pockets are always accessible, and you can attach your skis without having to take off the pack. Rear access to the main compartment puts everything right at your fingertips. The separate front compartment is for your avalanche safety equipment. To top it all off, this all-star pack has features like an integrated helmet attachment, rope attachment and loops for ice axe and poles. With the Aenergy ST 20-25, you can charge straight to the summit, leaving others in the dust.

Here’s How I Stayed Healthy During the Trek to Mount Everest Base Camp
Part of the challenge of hiking to Mount Everest Base Camp is avoiding illness and exhaustion. Its no secret that tourists often pass gastrointestinal viruses and head colds to each other during the trek, and the extreme altitude makes the body particularly vulnerable. The altitudes you attain during the trek to Mount Everest can also cause serious (or even fatal)...

Lessons Learned During the 2015 Nepal Earthquake
I remember the shaking. The vibrations were so severe that I could not stand up. After a few seconds, the soil beneath my feet liquified, and the village I was standing in began to spin like one of those sketchy teacup rides at an American county fair. I also remember the noise. In an instant, the planet itself became a...

Men clad in DayGlo vests and hardhats chatted as the whine of a flying cargo drone echoed through the valley. A few hundred meters beyond, the massive Khumbu Icefall cascaded from the flanks of Mount...
