Cleaning: the anodized surface would be damaged by the cleanser used in dishwashers; therefore Alpha Cookware should not be washed in a dishwasher.
Stove Use: Domestic stoves have a much higher output than backpacking stoves. If Alpha Cookware is used with a home stove, the flame setting should be kept low, and care should be taken to ensure that the pot does not boil dry.
Use over an open fire: Alpha Cookware is not designed for use over an open fire. The release for the pivot lock handle is made of nylon, and this can be damaged if flames come up the side of the pot or pan.

The Ultimate Camp Recliner Just Got Better: NEMO Stargaze EVO-X Camp Chair Review
Historically, my favorite chairs are those junk disposable ones that you can get at a box store for under $10. You don’t have to worry if an ember burns through the seat or if the legs rust off after lounging on a saltwater sandbar. But as the years roll by, I am starting to appreciate a few elevated camp comforts,...

Heritage and future tech combine in the Mercedes-Benz Vision Iconic show car. I Ran a Mile in Waders: SITKA Delta VentLite GTX Zip Wader Review
Why on earth is SITKA creating another wader? I asked myself. I had just reviewed a revamped Delta Pro Zip GTX Wader, so hearing about the release of another high-end wader — the SITKA Delta VentLite GTX Zip Wader ($1,500) — a few months behind, left me scratching my head. There had to be a good reason for it, or...

Wind-, Water-, Fireproof Winter Jacket: Teren Campfire Puffy 2.0 Review
Flames crackled and popped high into the February air as the blowtorch relentlessly blasted a dense, smoky burn pile. Despite the roaring fire slowly devouring the accumulated old growth, the temps surrounding the scorching blaze were frigid — single digits, if any could be found at all. Burn piles like this are just one part of cabin life in northern Minnesota....
Powerful Grip, Slide-Out Tray: Küat Grip 6 Ski and Snowboard Rack Review
Vehicle space on a ski trip is in high demand, often leaving no space for skis inside your car. The roof is a great place to store skis or snowboards to and from the mountain, and it can even look good on your vehicle. Some challenges come with a roof rack, too — but fortunately, the Küat Grip 6 Ski and...

Jeep’s Updated 2026 Grand Wagoneer to Offer America’s First Range-Extended Electric Vehicle Powertrain
When Jeep brought back the long-lamented Wagoneer badge back in 2022, it expected to have a big hit on its hands. But things didn’t go quite as planned. Now, after some soul-searching, a new naming strategy, and a big price cut, the 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer could finally be what was hoped for. Especially so with a first-of-its-kind, 647-horsepower range-extending...
