Black Hole Pack 25L (Fall 2022)
$104.30
Description

Burly laptop day pack with 100% recycled fabric

A burly daypack with just the right amount of space to haul your daily essentials, Patagonia's tough and highly weather-resistant Black Hole Pack 25L protects your gear from scuffs, scrapes and miles of rough handling. The large main pocket holds the lion’s share, with an internal padded sleeve that protects most 15" laptops or holds a hydration reservoir, and a mesh pocket equipped with a key keeper and an organizer panel to hold your phone and small items. The bucket opening replaces a traditional lid and contains a small stash pocket that seals with a reverse-coil zipper. Daisy chain lash points secure a skateboard or yoga mat, and a stealthy zippered front pocket holds quick-access items. With padded shoulder straps for comfort and a molded back panel that sheds moisture and allows a cooling airflow. Made from 300-denier 100% postconsumer recycled polyester ripstop with a TPU-film laminate and lined with 200-denier 100% recycled polyester with a polyurethane coating. Both fabrics have a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

Footprint sold separately.

Big, Bold, and Badass: WE Knife Inmate Review
The knife industry is currently experiencing a surge. I cannot remember a time when there have been so many new knife designers launching products into the market. I expect that when the dust settles, some designers will find their stride while others fade into obscurity. One of the new knife designers who has continued to grow in popularity is Jerad...
Low-Light Performance in a Compact Package: ZEISS SFL 10X50 Binocular Review
I felt hot, sweaty, and dejected as my buddy and I sat in my raft, silently drifting downriver in the bright sun with prime hunting hours coming to a close. We had taken a long shot during Tennessees early wood duck and teal season, opting to hunt an out-of-the-way river with complex logistics and few birds in lieu of the...
The Evolution of EVs Through a Nissan Leaf Lens
The 2011 Nissan Leaf debuted with a 24kWh battery and 73 miles of range. Its steeply sloped, stumpy nose with bugeye headlights and a bulbous hatchback body offered folks an entry into the modern battery electric world from a mainstream Japanese manufacturer. Tesla aside, many automakers took a similar approach, offering small, efficient, and limited-range electric cars. But unlike most...

Cushioned Confidence for the Long Haul: Saucony Xodus Ultra 4 Women’s Trail Running Shoe
Trail runners have plenty of cushioned options these days, but few manage to feel protective and versatile without tipping towards clunky. The Saucony Xodus Ultra 4 womens trail running shoe strikes that balance, pairing plush underfoot comfort with tacky traction and stability that can handle just about any mountain trail. I tested the Xodus Ultra 4 for about 2 months...
Moab All Year Long: A Red Rock Destination for Every Kind of Explorer
Adventure season in Moab doesn’t take a break. Families with toddlers (or their four-legged kiddos) to thrill-seekers and culture lovers — everyone can find their kind of a good time among the red rock canyons and desert landscapes. Whether you crave epic trails through the famed sandstone arches, boogying around a folk music festival, or just a leisurely scenic drive,...

What You Learn Running Toward, Rather Than Away, From a Tornado, With Pecos Hank
Spend time outdoors, and you’ll eventually spend time in brutal, even scary weather. Dangerous winds, flash flood-inducing rain, and vision-erasing whiteouts are sometimes the cost of entry. By the same token, you’re as likely to remember the upsides to those experience—the belly laughter of relief, the rainbows after the rain, the waist deep powder—as the scary parts. Hank Schyma, aka...

From Trails to Talus: Black Diamond Technician Pro Approach Shoe Review
If you’ve ever been on a long approach to a remote crag, you know that sometimes the climb begins before you reach the rock. Sweat drips from your brow while you lug a heavy pack full of metal from rock to rock, hoping that your shoes stick when it matters the most. Some climbers opt for an approach shoe for...
