Description

Part backpacking pack, part travel pack and entirely made for adventure—meet the women's-specific Fairview Trek 70, your new favorite globetrotting companion. An included AirCover®, which doubles as a raincover, protects your pack until you reunite halfway around the world at baggage claim.

The Trek will keep you comfortable while exploring both the back alleys and the backcountry at length thanks to an adjustable, ventilated backpanel. So, go ahead and book that ticket to Tokyo. City and summit gear effortlessly fit inside the large, zippered front-panel opening. A hydration compartment and hipbelt pockets make it simple to sip and snack on the go. Add on the fully compatible Farpoint/Fairview Travel Daypack or Daylite packs to expand your carry and add a small backpack for your daily excursions (daypack sold separately). Now made from 100% recycled nylon that's bluesign®-approved and strong enough for even the most rugged travel.

Just 2 years after he and his wife moved to Colorado from Massachusetts, Reilly was in a lot of...
Therm-a-Rest NeoLoft Sleeping Pad Review: Car Camping Comfort That Fits in Your Pack
By the time I was 15, I was well aware Santa wasn’t putting gifts under the tree for me. But that didnt make Christmas Day 1997 any less magical — especially given all the new backpacking gear I had asked “him” for. Brimming with excitement, I tore through the crinkling, colorful wrapping paper. All the colors of our trees lights...

Why DC Is Better (and Worse) Than You Think: An Outsider Summits Capitol Hill
Few things suck the wind right outta my sails like the phrase, This is going to be off the record. I was matching strides with Adam Cramer, CEO of Outdoor Alliance (OA), on an unseasonably sweltering April day, bounding toward the Capitol building. It was my maiden trip to Washington, D.C., and the first thing I learned is that the...

It All Started With a Near-Death Experience: The Toe-Pin Ski Binding Turns 40
Fritz Barthel almost killed himself skiing on Mont Blanc, and it gave him an idea that would change his life and backcountry skiing forever. Today, almost all backcountry skiers and ski tourers use the invention he designed after that life-altering adventure. The Austrian and a friend had just finished a rock climbing trip on the Mediterranean coast. It was the...

Work Hard, Play Hard: Building Bike Culture
Presented by At first glance, Cristian Sosa seems like everything a biker should be. His slicked-back hair, tightly groomed beard, and arms adorned with well-worn black and gray tattoos may fool you into thinking that Sosa’s demeanor matches his hard-core biker image. But like that saying about books and covers, not everything is as it seems. Anyone who has...

For instance, can I use it for quick hunts without it being overkill, and could I also use it for all-day rut sits or to bone out a whitetail if needed? Kifaru’s Shape Charge checks...
Hunters, Anglers Win Election Fights in Colorado and Florida
