Fairview Wheeled Travel Pack 36 - Women's
$299.95
Description

Sometimes the road to your destination gets rough. And when it does, the Fairview Wheeled 36 lends you a hand … er, harness. Merging rugged wheels with the Fairview's backpack-style carry means you can wheel your pack down Ubud's boutique-lined main street and toss it over your shoulder when you ascend the steps of your hillside villa. Front-panel access makes packing your sandals, suit and sunscreen a breeze, while internal compression keeps everything secure during transit.

This is the lightest-weight convertible wheeled travel pack Osprey has ever made; it's carry-on size and it's compatible with attachable Farpoint/Fairview Travel Daypack or Daylite packs (each sold separately). Now, the entire wheeled collection features extremely durable, 100% recycled high tenancity nylon that's bluesign®-approved for a lasting construction without as lasting of an impact on the places we explore.

Please note, this item is Oversized and does not qualify for free shipping.

Why We Can’t Log Our Way Out of Wildfires
Editor’s Note: We first published this story in January 2019 in the wake of the Camp Fire, the deadliest in California history. With the Palisades, Sunset, and Eaton Fires now raging across the Los Angeles area—and discussion about the role that U.S. forest policy might have played in creating the conditions for them following in their wake—we feel it’s as...
Winter Bass Lures: Top 5 Picks for Cold Water Fishing Success
My favorite thing in the world may be pulling up to a popular boat ramp at 10:00 a.m. and being the only truck there. Usually, when that happens, I wonder if everyone else knows something I dont, like an impending tornado or a massive fish kill that I somehow missed. But, in the wintertime, empty parking lots are the norm....
Help! My Boyfriend Is a Doomsday Prepper.
When I first started dating my boyfriend, he mentioned that he had a group of friends who went “camping” every month to practice skills for the future. I asked for more details and he said that they practice orienteering, tracking, and survival skills like that. He’s a really sweet, caring guy and nothing seemed like a red flag. Actually, my...
Outdoor Research Ferrosi Pants Review: They Do a Lot of Things Damn Well!
At some point along the way over the last 20 years, there has been a subtle (or maybe not so subtle) shift to hyper-specialized outdoor gear. I became acutely aware of this last year when I was in the market for a backcountry ski pack. But, every time I walked into my garage and looked at all the hooks with...
‘Super Aluminum’ Yields Remarkably Tough, Lightweight Knife: OKNIFE XEN-OAL Review
I am all about counting ounces when it comes to sleeping bags and hiking boots, but I get a little wary when knife brands start trimming fat off their knives. Sure, there are plenty of reliable knives out there that come in at 3 ounces or under. However, a growing amount of these lightweight knives are only rated for light-duty...
Eight Historic Trails to Explore Near Halifax
Known for its extensive coastline spanning more than 8,000 miles, Nova Scotiahas a rich maritime history. Halifax, the provinces capital and largest city, is situated on one of the deepest natural harbors in the world that remains ice-free in winter months. This year-round accessibility shaped Halifax into a crucial port and one of North Americas most historically abundant harbor cities....
Climbers, Hikers, and Runners Share Survival Stories from the Los Angeles Wildfires
The big oak tree that stood over the bedroom of Andrew Goldner’s Altadena, California, home always worried him. So when powerful Santa Ana winds battered his house on the night of Monday, January 5, Goldner, a rock climbing coach and video director, dragged his futon into the living room and slept there with his two dogs, just to be safe....
Hotdog Hans Goes to Switzerland: The Legend Returns, as Crusty as Ever
Hotdog Hans is an absolute legend. When you see the jeans, the old 80s windbreaker, and that iconic gray flow ripping around on his Volkl skis, sending half pipes and big air, you know it will be a good time. But the folks in Switzerland dont seem immediately excited about the newest visitor to their little village. After all, this...
You Deserve Your Vacation. What If It Also Made You Live Longer?
Traveling itself is believed to help boost longevity, but what if your next getaway had even more long-term benefits? Picture a reboot that’s good for you. We’re not talking about rigid health camps—we all deserve to enjoy our hard-earned vacations, after all—but rather, trips to beautiful places where mindfulness, wellness, community, and longevity are top priorities. Looking for more great...
Is This the Most Dystopian Climb in the US?
Diesel fumes. Cyanide. Falling dirt, laced with coal. Mysterious flecks of neon plastic. These are a few of the things you might accidentally inhale while climbing Utah’s Pricecicle, a 60-foot pillar right off Highway 6. If you like your ice like I like my martinis, then the Pricecicle will not disappoint. Is this the greatest dirtcicle in the West? There...
Pebble Flow: Self-Powered, Remote-Controlled Camper Trailer Coming This Year
With production starting soon and first deliveries expected this spring, the Pebble Flow looks to shake up the camper trailer market this year. The Flow camper is fully electric, includes loads of solar and regenerative braking, and can be optioned with a dual-motor propulsion system that not only extends travel range, but also makes the trailer able to automatically hitch...
Every Winter, I Read the Same Brilliant Essay About Snow
Seasonal reading—that’s my boring-but-apt term for enriching the mood and meaning of a certain time of year with the addition of a certain text. Each April, I reach for the “Spring” chapter in Walden. Every July, I take a lap in E.B. White’s “Once More to the Lake.” And in November, when the brown ground freezes and the weatherman predicts...
