Farpoint Trek Pack 75 - Men's
$269.95
Description

Technical backpacking and travel elements combine to create a pack that's ideal for long-haul trips and extensive time on the trail. The Farpoint Trek 75 not only gets your belongings safely to Colombia, it keeps you comfortable when you're traipsing through the coconut palm-lined foothills of Tayrona National Park.

A large front-panel opening makes simple work out of packing layers, camera equipment, toiletries and hiking boots. Adjustable suspension fits a variety of torso sizes and supreme ventilation regulates your trekking temperature. A dedicated compartment holds a hydration reservoir, and hipbelt pockets keep your phone and snacks within reach so you can hydrate, nourish and photograph the surrounding coastal mountain range without taking off your pack. Deploy the waterproof AirCover® to shield your belongings when the weather turns wet or to protect your bag when it's checked in for your global flight.

Still need more room? The Trek 75 is compatible with Osprey's Farpoint/Fairview® Travel Daypack or Daylite® packs (each sold separately). The whole Farpoint/Fairview Family is now made from 100% recycled, bluesign®-approved fabrics for a pack that's as durable as it is sustainable.

KETL Mtn. Apparel Launches ‘Rocky Mountain Oyster’ Treasure Hunt in Colorado
KETL Mtn. Apparel, a brand known for its travel and hiking clothing, is enticing customers with a good old-fashioned treasure hunt. On Oct. 18, the company will release coordinates to hidden jars of cash and KETL gift cards stashed away throughout the Front Range of Colorados Rocky Mountains. If youve ever dreamed of following clues and maps to hidden riches,...
‘Building a Running Legacy in Los Angeles:’ A Film About LA Runner Adrian Villarreal
Los Angeles local Adrian Villarreal started running as a way to get from point A to point B — regularly ditching his backpack in his high school locker and running the 5 to 7 miles home. Those runs quickly became the part of his day he looked forward to most. “That’s when I fell in love with running,” Villarreal says....
Local Groups Rally to Support National Parks Crippled by Government Shutdown
Since the government shutdown began on Oct. 1, many national parks and historic sites have remained open — but with severely reduced staff. Entrance fees are going uncollected, visitor centers are closed, and illegal activities abound in popular parks like Yosemite. In response to these challenges, local organizations and groups have stepped up to help visitors, maintain facilities, and preserve...
Plugging Into the Los Angeles Running Scene
Los Angeles may be known for its traffic, but for runners, it’s a city best experienced on foot. From coastal paths and canyon trails to early-morning track workouts and vibrant neighborhood run clubs, LA’s running scene is as diverse and energetic as the city itself. Plugging in is easy once you know where to look: a mix of local run...
Big Box Energy in a Small Package: YETI LoadOut GoBox 1 Review
YETI has a knack for taking the simplest gear and turning it into something fad-worthy. The new LoadOut GoBox 1 is just the next thing that people are going to need to have in several seasonal colors. It is, at its core, a small hard case for your essentials, yet somehow feels over-engineered for a military expedition. Built from the...
Why This Ultralight Puffy Still Sets the Standard: Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer Hoody Review
When the Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer Hoody ($380) first launched 13 years ago, it redefined what an ultralight down jacket could be. At just over half a pound, it quickly became the go-to layer for ounce-counters and alpine minimalists — including GearJunkie founder Stephen Regenold, who first tested the icon in 2013. Over the years, he took it from ice...

Tricked-Out & Affordable Ultralight Backpack: Outdoor Vitals Shadowlight 60 Review
Pushing the last backpacking trip of the year to late fall in Colorado’s high peaks comes with a near guarantee of bad weather — but outlandish beauty in exchange. And pure solitude if you get deep enough. I hoofed it deep into Colorado’s Gore Range just past the peak of the fall colors. Cold, wet, and worth it. Outdoor Vitals’ overhauled...
Colorado Loses One 14er & Gains Another After Scientific Assessment
The LIDAR Data mapping Colorados Park, Custer, and Fremont Counties was published in 2020, and it raised questions for Eric Gilbertson. The mountaineer and mechanical engineer likes to conduct ground surveys on peaks in his spare time, and his friend Ben Loftin pointed out how close Crestone and East Crestone Peaks elevations looked on the LIDAR data. They were damn...
Want Free Fuel for Your Next Big Overland Adventure? Buy This Custom Jeep Camper
Its time to find a new home for my custom-made Jeep Camper, and I want to make it a fun experience rather than just being sad to see it go. This camper was designed and built from the ground up to explore the most remote corners of the globe. And, I want to see the new owner do exactly that,...
Simple Is Still Better: Stio Environ Ski Pants Review
I only encountered a few on-snow days when Stio’s Environ ski pants didn’t excel at my local ski resort. And that’s only because I prefer ski bibs when I’m slashing (and occasionally tomahawking) through waist-deep powder. But as far as mens ski pants go, the Environ had me covered through a huge variety of weather conditions brought on by the...
Volvo’s First Cross Country EV Finally Arrives in the US
Another electric off-roader has joined the party. Its not exactly a brand youd traditionally think of when it comes to hitting the trail, but Volvos latest wants to tackle terrain thats a little tougher than your typical compact crossover can handle. The Volvo EX30 Cross Country is the first electric to get the Swedish car companys CC badge, and it...
