What are the care and cleaning instructions for the GoCup?
The GoCup is dishwasher safe (top rack only).

Are there any differences between the 4 fl. oz. and 8 fl. oz. GoCups other than size?
Yes. The 8 fl. oz. also has a "DoubleDecker" tray that gives you the option of two smaller chambers (to organize pills, for example), or one large chamber. The "DoubleDecker" also creates a handy portable pill box you can take on-the-go by itself.

Can you drink a fine, 50-year-old Cognac like Hine Triomphe from a GoCup?
Yes.

What units of measurement are marked on the GoCups?
Both sizes of GoCup are made for "cups" and "ml." The 8 fl. oz. size goes up to 1 cup and 200 ml, while the 4 fl oz. size goes up to 1/2 a cup and 100 ml. The 4 fl. oz. size also has markings for 1 and 2 shots.

Can I use the GoCup for a hot beverage?
The silicone of the GoCup can hold a hot beverage; however, you may find that the silicone is too hot to hold around the middle--you may only be able to hold it from the bottom or the upper lip if you put a hot beverage in it.

Plan a Desert Camping Trip to Beat the Winter Blues
The mountains are muddy (or still socked in with snow), it’s raining in the woods, and rivers are about to overflow their banks with runoff. Winter has felt long this year, and youre probably itching to spend some time in the sun, and maybe go on a camping trip. But where can you find comfort and solitude in this transitional...

One of Utah’s Most Popular National Park Hikes Closes Indefinitely Due to Staffing Shortage
On Sunday, Arches National Park officials announced that the iconic Fiery Furnace hiking zone would be closed until further notice due to staffing shortages. In February, the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) fired 1,000 existing National Park employees and rescinded job offers for another 5,000 seasonal workers. Although the government reversed course on the temporary workers a few...
Try It to Buy It: Near Zero Launches Backpacking Gear Rental Program
Its not the mileage, inclines, or creepy crawlies that can scare off new backpackers fastest — its the cost of gear. The hefty price tag associated with collecting backpacking equipment is a reasonable hesitation. Its also hard to know if you love overnight backpacking without the gear to try it first. Thats why Near Zero launched its backpacking gear rental...
Why I Couldn’t Resist the Colorado Trail’s Cursed Charm
It was somewhere around the third or fourth storm on the tenth day of my first attempt at the Colorado Trail that I began to question my sanity. I was drenched nearly to my internal organs, my pack probably five or 500 pounds heavier than before the sky began throwing its endless tantrum. So much hail had come down over...

How Bone Broth Helps to Optimize Your Post-Workout Recovery
Last year, a friend of mine, who is a nutritionist, recommended that I try drinking bone broth to help optimize my performance. I didnt think too much of it at the time, as guzzling the stock made from animal bones didnt sound all that appetizing to me, especially before or after a big workout. I tabled the advice and didn’t think...

Not too long ago, it would be hard to find something as specific as the Astrals...

Durable, Electric Daily Driver for Backcountry Skiers: BCA Float E2 Airbag Ski Backpacks
Backcountry skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling are inherently dangerous sports. As someone who spends a lot of time enjoying these activities, lowering my risk exposure is incredibly important. In my perspective, reducing risk can be done in a few ways, including conservative decision-making and investing in safety equipment. That includes avalanche airbag ski backpacks. In the past decade, avalanche airbags have...

Unsupported (or solo) climbers can now proceed as planned for the 2025 season. This is a relief, as climbers plan far in advance for any expedition to this area and...
