Niak Mesh Inner Tent
Hilleberg
Niak Mesh Inner Tent
$290.00
Description

  Inner tent for Hilleberg Niak

The Hilleberg Niak Mesh Inner Tent is a simple, highly versatile option for use in dry, warm conditions. Used alone, its full mesh walls provide not only maximum airiness and protection from flying and crawling insects, but also 360° views. This Mesh Inner Tent can also be used with the outer tent of the Niak: simply disconnect the standard inner tent and button in the appropriate Mesh Inner Tent. While this greatly increases ventilation, the mesh inner tents weigh about the same as the corresponding standard inner tents, so there is not a significant weight savings. When used in combination with a Tarp (sold separately), the Mesh Inner Tents retain all of their venting and viewing advantages while the Tarp provides protection from rain or shade from the sun. Includes the pole holder kit to pitch the inner tent or mesh inner on its own.

Poles and stakes are NOT INCLUDED.

Poles and stakes can be purchased separately, or if you already own a Niak, you can use the poles from your tent with this Mesh Inner Tent.

Footprint sold separately.

The Freespirit Recreation (FSR) Nova aims to combine the best of both by eliminating the fabric cover, integrating a rugged aluminum shell, and offering a...

Technical Touring Pack for Fast & Light Skiers: Black Diamond Cirque 25 Review
It’s the winter solstice in Southcentral Alaska, and I only have 5 hours of daylight. As I gained the summit ridge, its 2 p.m., and the sun is already starting to dip below the horizon. Needing to move fast to get back down before dark, I attached my skis to my pack without removing them and pounded up the boot track...

Fi Series 3 Review: Not All Dogs Who Wander Are Lost
As I mash my pedals up the last kicker on the trail, I register that my dog, Broose, is nowhere to be seen. Finally, at the top of the mountain, I once again have cell coverage and feel a vibration in my pocket. “43 minutes ago: Broose has left Bentley,” one notification reads. “27 minutes ago: Broose is on Spruce...
The Lightest Inflatable Sleeping Pad on the Market: Nemo Tensor Elite Review
The trail up Mt. Katadyn, the northern terminus and highest peak along the Appalachian Trail, often sits above the clouds and cuts through car-sized boulder fields to reach the summit. Gripping a rebar ladder rung on a vertical rock face, I carefully pick another spot for my foot. I now understand why the rangers here have a fleet of daypacks...

Meet Muppy, the World’s Smallest Sled Dog
Last fall, at a dryland dogsled race in Pearson,Wisconsin, one canine athlete stood out from the rest. While her competition—mostly pointers and Alaskan huskies—ran one- to three-mile sprints, then rested, she entered multiple divisions in such quick succession that she once hurried straight from the finish line to the starting line without slowing down. Her gaze is stoic. Her fur...
