Radial Daypack (Spring 2023)
$146.21
Description

Designed specifically for the committed bicycle commuter who rides rain or shine, the Osprey Radial makes your daily voyage easier with commute-specific features. A dedicated pocket inside the pack separates your cycling kit from the rest of your daily supplies, a concealed LidLock attachment point secures your helmet on the front of the pack when not in use and an integrated kickstand below keeps your gear from spilling when you set the pack down.

An AirSpeed backpanel is the answer to regulating your commuting temperature and a high-vis raincover keeps you seen while keeping everything protected from the elements. Hitting the gym or picking up groceries after work? Zippered expansion increases volume on days that call for extra gear.

Lead tester Miya Tsudome made sure to hike in them...
Run Clubs Over Night Clubs: Gear and Trends From Strava 2024 Year-End Report
The folks at Strava get a lot of data on users exercise habits and trends. Every year, it compiles all that information, assesses and analyzes it, and releases its Year in Sport: Trend Report announcing the findings. This month, it released the report for 2024. Many of the findings caught us by surprise — and in a good way. This...
ORTOVOX Revamps Avi Gear Trade-In: Get 30% Off Beacon That Talks
Like all gear, avalanche beacons have a limited lifespan. Most manufacturers recommend getting a new one every 5 to 7 years, but theyre expensive. It can also be a pain to figure out how and where to recycle them. ORTOVOXs Avalanche Beacon Retirement Program solves both of those problems. ORTOVOX will take any beacon and recycle it, and in return,...

Neglecting your feet after a workout...

Quick Take Review: 2025 Nissan Murano
The fourth-generation Nissan Murano has arrived. This crossover has evolved a lot over its 22 years on the market, getting bigger, more refined, and more luxurious. It is made specifically for the North American market. And, Nissan says the vehicle is targeted at older people, many empty nesters, that want a high seating position and is an easy to get...
Skinning Up Mount Rainier with Breast Cancer Forced Me to Take the Journey One Step at a Time
My older daughter, Nina’s, birthday means it is time for Mount Rainier. Every June, my husband and I make a pilgrimage to Mount Rainier with our two daughters to admire the massive volcano, hike up the snowfields, and earn some early summer ski turns. Our trips began with toddlers and sledding near the parking lot, then progressed to little kids...
Brave Snow, Ice, and Slush with These Top Winter Running Shoes

10 Favorite Last-Minute Deals On Gear From Steep & Cheap
There are certain stores that bargain hunters swear by. Costco, for instance, has an army of card-carrying loyalists, patrons who adore the bulk discounts, juicy rotisserie chickens, and inflation-proof, buck-fifty hot dogs. Steep and Cheap, we’d argue, has a similar allure for the penny-pinching ski bum or backpacker on a budget. While Steep and Cheap is usually a go-to for...
Last-Minute Gifts from a Bad Uncle
It’s less than a week until Christmas. If you’re anything like me—a childlike adult living kid-free—that means you might have just enough time to get a gift to your nieces, nephews, and friends’ offspring sometime before January. Two years ago, I wrote a piece explaining my program of purchasing children the most dangerous, parent-annoying knives, motorcycles, and archery gear possible. But since...
‘Shortcut’ Strands Jeep Driver on CA Ski Resort
Shortcuts often end up becoming the long way around. One man suspected on driving under the influence learned that fact the hard way on Monday, Dec. 16, when he tried taking a shortcut to his hotel — by driving across a ski resort. The man, whose identity has not been released by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), got stuck in...
