The Barkley Marathon is one of the most unique and challenging long-distance footraces in the world. Durable, Electric Daily Driver for Backcountry Skiers: BCA Float E2 Airbag Ski Backpacks
Backcountry skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling are inherently dangerous sports. As someone who spends a lot of time enjoying these activities, lowering my risk exposure is incredibly important. In my perspective, reducing risk can be done in a few ways, including conservative decision-making and investing in safety equipment. That includes avalanche airbag ski backpacks. In the past decade, avalanche airbags have...

On Sunday, Arches National Park officials announced that the iconic Fiery Furnace hiking zone would be closed until further notice due to staffing shortages. In February, the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) fired 1,000 existing National Park employees and rescinded job offers for another 5,000 seasonal workers. Better Than My Ol’ Ballcap: Turtle Fur Way Out Fishing Hat Review
Before using the Turtle Fur Way Out, Ive always picked my fishing hat based on how dirty I want to look. Am I going for that crusty guide vibe? If so, Im throwing on the old hat I picked up at a fly shop a decade ago. Maybe I want to look like a clean, consummate professional. Then Im going...
Breakthrough Bugout: Benchmade ‘535-09’ Elevates Hallowed Folding Knife Family
Every blue moon, you land a piece of gear that looks so good that you hesitate to want to use it. The risk of dirtying up a work of art outweighs the desire to put it through its paces. That’s how I felt (and still feel, to some degree) about the Benchmades latest folder, the Bugout 535-09. This is a...
