Virga3 26 - Unisex
$143.96
Description

Granite Gear takes its commitment to making the outdoors a space for every body a step further by reframing the conversation around ultralight backpacking with the Virga3 series. It continues to be of utmost importance to Granite Gear to expand the range of people and bodies that their packs can comfortably and responsibly fit.

With a fully adjustable torso height and width and the lightest Re-Fit hip belt to-date, Granite Gear invites all to join the ultralight experience with the Virga3 26.

The Virga3 26 weighs in at just 1.26 lbs (stripped weight: 1.16 lb), made with Robic® High-tenacity nylon (100D and 210D) with Barrier DWR. Part of the way Granite Gear achieves the phenomenally light weights of the Virga3 series packs is by not utilizing a frame sheet, stays, or foams in the back panel. The load itself functions as the pack’s suspension. The nylon shell gains support and rigidity from a sleeping pad— fold up and slide your pad into the interior or simply drop in a rolled pad and let it uncoil to push against the back panel, and pack gear inside the roll.

The shoulder harness system now takes a nod from the trail running and fastpacking world with two sternum straps for an even hug (fully removable). The Virga3 26 utilizes a removable 25mm webbing waist belt. Other key features are: large dual hip belt pockets with DWR-treated zippers, roll-top main compartment opening with top compression for easy access, and a pair of elastic bottle holders on both shoulder straps.

Footprint sold separately.

For a number of years, coolers have been all the rage. Buy Your E-Bike Now — Biden Tariffs Already Hiking Prices
Its no secret that the bike industry has struggled to maintain profitability in the last few years — and now it will get even worse. This spring, President Joe Bidens administration announced a large increase in tariffs on Chinese imports to protect American manufacturers from a deluge of cheap products. However, the change will likely have the opposite effect on...
Memory Foam Molded to Your Feet: Meindl MFS-Vakuum Hiker Review
I used to dread breaking in new hiking boots whenever I finally had to retire a pair Id beaten to death. New pairs of boots always pinched, rubbed, and squeezed my feet in weird ways until, eventually, they would soften up and relent. For whatever reason, that process has gotten easier over the years. Maybe I just got used to...
Bluetooth Speaker Built Like a Tank: Turtlebox Gen 2 Review
As an owner of a plethora of outdoor speakers, I was eager to test the burly-looking Turtlebox Gen 2.Its marketed as the toughest and loudest outdoor speaker ever made. Its supposed to be dunkable and droppable and allegedly produces such thunderous bass it can cut through the boom of a boat engine, the raucous rev of an ATV, or a...
They’re Baaaack! Minimalist, 5-Toe ‘Peluva’ Lightweight Trainer Review
What are those?! Just when you thought the meme —and the toe-shoe craze —was dead, here I come, waltzing in like its 2010 all over again. In full transparency, I didnt understand the appeal when Vibram made its sneaker splash with the Five Fingers footwear phenomenon. At the time, Born to Run was a bestselling hit that had runners and...
Back to Basics Knife Sharpening: Sharp Pebble 1000/6000 Whetstone Review
When I started out as a knifemaker, I did a lot of learning before I started creating. I was taught about steel and its molecular structure, as well as the pros and cons of each. Learned to love G10 and Micarta for how awesome those materials are. I also spent a lot of time with my mentor watching the Rambo...
2025 Nissan Rogue Gets Rock Creek Off-Roader
The Nissan Rogue just got more rugged. The 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek adds a chunky new front fascia, more cladding, and all-terrain tires. Some versions of the Rogue are also more tech-heavy with the addition of an invisible hood camera view and ProPilot Assist 2.1 hands-off highway driving, but those features will be surprisingly absent from the new off-road...

YETI vs. RTIC: Rotomolded Cooler Breakdown
Rotomolded coolers, like YETI, RTIC, and countless others, aren’t exactly cheap. So you might ask, Why not just buy a $40 cooler at Walmart? But odds are, you wont realize you really want a high-quality cooler until you’re lounging on the beach, camping, or relaxing at the cabin, and your ice-cold beer has all turned lukewarm. High-end coolers are an investment,...
