The all-new sixth-generation Jeep Cherokee is set to arrive in late 2025. The announcement came today, along with two teaser images and a fun little heritage grille teaser video.

　　“The all-new Jeep Cherokee headlines our efforts to deliver more product, innovation, choice and standard content to customers than ever before,” said Bob Broderdorf, Jeep CEO.

　　“Jeep Cherokee will boast competitive pricing that strikes at the core of the largest vehicle segment and sits perfectly between Jeep Compass and Jeep Grand Cherokee to bolster our winning mainstream lineup.”

　　Play All-New Sixth-Generation Jeep Cherokee The last, fifth-generation Jeep Cherokee left the market at the end of 2023. The new machine coming soon is much more brutish in design, hinting at its rugged capabilities.

　　It also might just have the tallest front end of any Jeep ever, with an upper and lower grille design separated by a bumper-like black plastic section. It has presence, for sure!

　　The new Cherokee looks very much like a baby Grand Cherokee, which is by design. It also does a pretty good job of combining the classic Cherokee design language with the latest from Jeep. I call all this a massive improvement over the bulbous design of the last-generation Cherokee.

　　Besides staring at these photos and the announcement that its coming late this year, the only other thing we know for sure is that the 2026 Jeep Cherokee will be offered with a hybrid drivetrain. This is likely a mild hybrid and not a plug-in hybrid (PHEV). You dont see the telltale blue accents that all Jeep 4xe PHEVs have in these teaser images.

　　Although Ill wager a bet that the new Cherokee will be offered in a few powertrain variants, which will likely include a tiny ICE motor, a mild hybrid system, and likely a 4xe PHEV. While unlikely but possible, it would be rad to see a Hurricane motor under the hood of one of these crossover SUVs as well.

　　(Photo/Jeep) 2026 Jeep Cherokee: Availability Pricing While pricing is unknown, it will land squarely between the Compass ($28,895) and Grand Cherokee ($38,490). By my estimations, that means the 2026 Jeep Cherokee could be around $35K, with high-line models topping out around $47K.

　　Well get all the details on this sixth-generation SUV near the end of 2025. I expect that the 2026 Jeep Cherokee will start hitting dealer lots in the U.S. in early 2026, but it could be sooner.

　　It will compete with the Toyota RAV4, Hyundai Tucson, Honda CR-V, and Chevrolet Equinox in one of the hottest segments (Compact Crossover SUV) in the U.S. auto market.
