　　If youre going to invest in an expensive puffer, you want it to last, and Black Diamond took that to heart with the Mission Down. It reinforced the high-wear areas like shoulders, hood, and lower back, and added nylon ripstop fabric where theres down insulation. The brand says the no-stitch, woven-baffle construction boots offer durability and weather protection. For how beefy of a jacket it is, its surprisingly light, weighing just 17 ounces.

　　Freeriding Fit

　　The Ravine Plus 3L Jacket ($780) and Bib Pants ($590) have merino wool inserts strategically placed to optimize warmth and temperature regulation. The Dyneema Cordura protects against rips and tears, and a wider, more generous cut should allow for maximum freedom of movement.

　　Underwater Scooter

　　(Photo/Sublue) Swimming and snorkeling are so 2025. For 2026, level up your ocean excursions with the Sublue Vapor ($3,000), a scooter that can travel above or below the water, at speeds of up to 6 mph. This gadget has a pump-jet propulsion system and a hydrodynamic design so you can go farther for longer.

　　It includes safety features such as a depth rate alarm and an attitude ball in case you become disoriented. With a weight of 19 pounds, Sublue claims its light enough to bring to the beach in your daypack.

　　Winter-Proof Trail Runners

　　(Photo/Arcteryx) Arcteryx has been building up its footwear profile in recent years, and its latest release is certainly eye-catching. The Norvan 4 Nivalis GTX Grotto Shoe ($260) looks like something out of high fashion, with a sock-like knit upper that extends up to the ankle.

　　The brand says its watertight and made to keep your feet dry, no matter the conditions. Vibram Megagrip 6.5mm lugs should deliver traction and stability on uneven, snowy terrain. Arcteryx says its also easy and fast to add microspikes to the shoe if need be.

　　Energized Snacks

　　(Photo/COBA) Endurance athletes are always thinking up new ways to get caffeine and calories, and upstart brand COBA is betting its got your new go-to snack for long runs or thru-hikes. Its bars ($2.30) combine chocolate with the flavors of your favorite drinks (and their equivalent caffeine) like espresso, matcha latte, chai tea latte, and hoijicha latte.

　　The bars utilize high-quality ingredients, including Fair Trade–certified Arabica coffee, ceremonial-grade matcha from Japan, Madagascar vanilla, and vegan dark chocolate. Each bar weighs just 0.53 ounces and delivers around 80 calories, 7 g of carbs, and anywhere from 25 to 60 mg of caffeine, depending on the flavor.

　　Ultralight Cup

　　Next-Gen Ski Boot

Fischer focused on fit with its new Speedmax 9 RL BOA Nordic Boot ($900). Unlike other models, it has BOA fit adjustments on both the heel and the forefoot, so you can optimize the fit for your foot shape.

　　The BOA closures should also place less stress on your feet than traditional ones. Fischer says, Thanks to the lower foot position, combined with the new chassis for improved torsion control, you can feel the ski even better than before.

This adorably diminutive timepiece is one-tenth the size of the original, and fits around your finger like a ring. Even though its small, Casio says this model is still mighty, with shock resistance and 20m water resistance.

　　Versatile E-Bike

The Dutch brand recently launched the Wayfarer ($2,200), which it says is an all-terrain city e-bike that easily handles both daily commuting and weekend adventures.

　　The Wayfarer boasts a smart system that can seamlessly switch between torque and cadence modes for smooth, quick acceleration. TENWAYS says its more comfortable than typical e-bikes, with a wide-cushioned saddle, front fork shock absorption, and adjustable stem.

　　Chunky HOKA

　　(Photo/HOKA) Chunky, platform shoes with Y2K vibes have been having a renaissance lately, and now HOKA is putting its own sporty spin on the trend. The new all-gender Stinson One7 ($185) is a hybrid between two other popular shoes: The Stinson 7 and Stinson Lite. This model combines the best of both, with plush comfort and cushioning alongside a stabilizing H-frame.
