GoPros request was simple: Submit a video of your best line all winter. The action and adventure sports brand wanted to put together a montage video of freeride skiers and snowboarders using a GoPro camera on their raddest runs all year. GoPro would assess the entries, make a sick edit, and one lucky skier or rider would go home with a $120,000 prize.
The brand put together a panel of all-star freeride judges — Ingrid Backstrom, Scott Gaffney, Elena Hight, Adam Jaber, and Sage Kotsenburg — to choose who would win the grand prize. Hundreds of clips were submitted from around the world, and GoPros judges watched them all.
The winner? Youll just have to watch and see for yourself. GoPros half-hour film Best Line of the Winter is an exposé of dreamy, creamy, powder-filled ski slopes. Skiers and riders shred in bounds, out of bounds, and everywhere in between. If youre ready to start getting excited for skiing, nows the time.
