Sea to Summit
Comfort Plus SI Mat
$135.16 - $159.16
Description

The Comfort Plus Self-Inflating Sleeping Mat is pure camping luxury. This is a plush, three inch thick, light and easy to use option for anyone looking for maximum comfort.

Delta Core technology reduces the foam's weight and bulk without compromising comfort. A lightweight but luxurious 30D stretch knit fabric is used on the top surface and each pad is embossed with a non-slip grip print to keep the mat from slipping. And Sea to Summit literally put a twist on their multi-function valve to ensure super-fast deflation, without fighting re-inflation, as you roll it up.

MULTI-FUNCTION VALVE
To make inflation and deflation of its air mats easier, Sea to Summit developed the multi-function valve. This valve integrates an inflate port with a one-way valve to prevent air loss before you seal the valve, a rapid air dump deflate port, and a fine tune button to adjust for comfort - all in one compact, low profile unit. It has also been designed to allow easy attachment of a pump, for simpler inflation.

PILLOW LOCK SYSTEM
The Pillow Lock™ System comprises of self-adhesive hook-and-loop patches which are supplied with all Sea to Summit sleeping mats (as of Spring 2019). Attached to your sleeping mat, these patches secure your pillow and prevent it slipping – yet they will not snag on clothing or other lightweight fabrics. All Sea to Summit Pillows (as of Spring 2019) are compatible with this system. Existing pillows can be made Pillow Lock™ compatible by adding an Aeros Pillow Case. Pillows sold separately.

DELTA CORE TECHNOLOGY
The innovative Delta Core™ system maximizes the comfort and thickness of Sea to Summit's Self Inflating mattresses while minimizing weight and bulk. 40% of the initial volume of the PU foam is removed in horizontal Delta-shaped cores, giving minimal weight and packed size. Importantly, the top and bottom surface of the PU foam remain completely intact. This ensures consistent warmth along the full length of the mattress and significantly improves bonding of the foam to the shell fabric, which reduces the chance of delamination.
The shape and size of the Delta Cores™ are adjusted across the different thicknesses of Sea to Summit's mattresses to ensure strength and durability combined with excellent support.

We Tested the Redesigned 2026 Can-Am Defender Lineup: What Was Good Is Now Great
UTV manufacturers love to shout “all-new” the same way gas station sushi shouts “fresh.” Most of the time, it’s a reach. A new hood shape and a tweaked badge do not equal a redesign. Can-Am didn’t play that game. The 2026 Defender lineup actually changed. This isn’t lipstick on a bumper. The brand rebuilt the platform from the ground up....
More Pockets, Minimal Weight: Deuter Speed Lite Pro 30L Review
When I’m 2,000-plus vertical feet and 10 miles into a hike, the last thing I want to think about is the weight of my pack pulling me down. Luckily, as I hiked wearing the Deuter Speed Lite Pro, the thought didnt cross my mind. The pack was loaded with gear, but it wasnt slowing me up or weighing me down...
RallyCrew: The Whitewater Community’s New Digital Eddy
Since the popular Boatertalk forum shuttered in 2020, there hasnt been a central meeting point for whitewater paddlers. But, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, a new home for the whitewater community will be available to all. Its called RallyCrew. The whole idea behind RallyCrew is to create a global platform for whitewater paddlers — kayakers, canoeists, rafters, packrafters, and SUPers...
I Have 4 Kids—This Is the Back-to-School Gear That’s Saving My Sanity
I’m the father of two middle-school girls and two grade-school boys. Weekdays during the school year are absolute sprints that start before dawn and end when my wife and I fall asleep before 9:30 p.m. As many of you can relate, it’s exhausting. As a gear reviewer, I’ve spent a lot of time dialing in the items that help keep...
The Ultimate Family Road Trip
There are two kinds of family road trips. The “Are we there yet?” kind, with too many car hours and too little action (sorry kids), and the “Do we have to go home?” kind (thank you, parents). To find the best of the latter, we sent adventurer Jacob Moon, with his wife and daughter, to Montana and the family discovered...
Tara Dower Sets New Overall Supported FKT on Vermont’s Long Trail
The original version of this story was published on iRunFar. Before dawn on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Tara Dower reached the southern terminus of the 272-mile Long Trail at the Vermont–Massachusetts border. She had set a new overall supported fastest known time (FKT) on the route with a time of 3 days, 18 hours, and 29 minutes. This bests the previous overall...
Bats in the Attic: NPS Contacts Grand Teton Lodge Guests for Rabies Risk Assessments
If you stayed at Jackson Lake Lodge in Grand Teton National Park between May 5 and July 17, 2025, the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) might want to hear from you. The hotel discovered a bat colony in a shared attic of one building. The agencies are now coordinating risk assessments...
What Life in the Grand Canyon Tells Us About Life Everywhere Else, With Cindell Dale
The River Guide is an outdoor archetype, a sunburnt romantic whose everyday existence is a bucket list adventure for the rest of us. They read inscrutable water, navigate person-eating hazards, and exude a natural connection to the canyons through which they guide us—and, in the Grand Canyon, all of that gets turned up to 11. Cindell Dale has guided “the...
