Description

The Dynafit Radical 23 scores big with comfort, durability, and very intelligent compartment layout for classic ski tours. This versatile model is geared toward ski touring enthusiasts who place value on a light, practical pack but don't want to neglect comfort. In order to allow you to customize the pack to your needs, it offers numerous adaption possibilities. For example, the mesh back panel has EVA foam padding to guarantee total comfort. You can also remove the padding easily and quickly using a zip if you want to save weight on a particularly ambitious tour. The same goes for ski and bottle attachments that you can also remove in a snap.

Thanks to the use of durable, coated ripstop nylon, the Radical delivers the best durability and a long lifespan. Inside the pack, there are special compartments for probe and shovel to lend organization and good viewable access. In addition, the model is equipped with the time-tested safety box, which is a compartment accessible from the exterior that is perfect for quickly stashing items like crampons. Rock Climbing Will Never Be the Same: Chalkless Keeps Hands Dry With a Single Application
Chalk is like air to rock climbers. We dip into our bag our bucket to keep our fingers and hands dry, but its also a reassuring habit. With a fresh layer of calcium carbonate dusting our fingertips, we know we are prepared to conquer the objective. Oh, and dont forget to stylishly blow the excess off, you know, for the...
The Bike Listening Tour: 2,500 Cycling Miles Learning About Loneliness and Community
As the digital age drastically reduces the requirement for face-to-face interactions, a loneliness epidemic has garnered the attention of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the U.S. Surgeon General. Both the CDC and the U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek H. Murthy issued statements warning the public about the spread and serious physical and mental health implications of loneliness. Murthy...
The Best Multitools of 2024
You never realize how much you need a multitool until you start carrying one. Anyone who does can tell you they find themselves using theirs all the time. Sure, there’s a little bit of eagerness when you have one in your pocket or pack. You may even find yourself seeking out things to fix or tinker with just to justify...
Gold Medal Shoes: Winning Kicks of the Olympic Games
Every shoe brand claims to make us run faster and jump higher. Nothing communicates this better than The Sandlot scene where the baseball-loving rascals watch in envy as their teammate laces up his secret weapon — a pair of PF Flyers. As the audience, we understand the meta-message at play here: The real power was inside you all along! But...
The Thrilling Women’s Sport Climbing Finals Came Down to the Wire
If fans were craving more heart-pounding tension after yesterday’s nail-biting men’s Combined final, they got it this morning as the women’s Boulder portion of the Combined discipline funneled into the Lead climax. Slovenia’s Janja Garnbret was leading the field, but just barely… some struggles from Garnbret on the last boulder (and, worrisomely, a potential finger injury) meant that other competitors...
My Winter Running Staple: The North Face Winter Warm Pro Tights Review
Winter weather is ever-changing, and some days, you just dont know what you will get. Organize Your Travel with Eagle Creek Pack-It Cubes
For the active crowd, travel organization often means living out of bags — not just transporting clothes from home to hotel. And although travel can be exciting as a novelty, living out of a duffel gets old quickly, and staying organized can be a big challenge! Meeting these needs with its Pack-It organizing system, Eagle Creek has devised methods for...
It’s a Cooler. It’s an Air Conditioner. It’s IcyBreeze
Of all the products Ive been skeptical of this year, this one might take the cake. The idea of a cooler that could function well as an air conditioner while still fully operating as a cooler seemed far-fetched. I had money on the fact that this thing would end up being a mediocre cooler and a less-than-mediocre air conditioner. I...

Delica Vans Now Off-Road Only in Michigan: Registrations Revoked
The Great Lakes State thinks the Mitsubishi Delica is a tiny micro van and, therefore, not street legal. That’s what Michigan-based Delica owners are discovering. A letter saying as much (shown below) was first posted in the MDOC: Mitsubishi Delica Owners Club USA Facebook group. The letter specifically states: “Michigan Department of State (MDOS) records indicate you were issued a...
BeerJunkie: Bissell Brothers Brewing ‘The Substance Ale’ IPA Review
Ol Paulie Pabst is back with a vengeance on this weeks BeerJunkie review. If you havent had the pleasure of visiting Portland, Maine, and its bevy of brickroad breweries, youre missing out! This New England destination somehow manages to be simultaneously trendy and quaint, and it punches well above its weight class with its craft beer offerings. And what better...
