Trailhead ThIII 20F
Sea to Summit
Trailhead ThIII 20F
$178.95 - $198.95
Description

If you are new to outdoor recreation, or you only camp occasionally, the Trailhead ThIII 20F synthetic mummy sleeping bag is a great value-oriented option. However, the modest price tag doesn’t mean it has cut corners on comfort and versatility. Like all Sea to Summit synthetic mummy sleeping bags, the Trailhead utilizes WaveLoft™ construction to allow the insulation to expand out into air-trapping curves for maximum warmth.

As the temperature rises, the full-length zipper (which curves around through the foot box) allows you to sequentially increase ventilation to the point where the mummy sleeping bag can be opened flat and used as a quilt.

The tapered-rectangular mummy cut of the Trailhead gives you plenty of room to move, regardless of your sleeping position.

Footprint sold separately.

Look Good and Be Prepared for Anything: Wiley X Apex Sunglasses Review
Form over fashion is my stance on sunglasses. As an angler, hunter, and outdoorsman, I want something that performs in the field above all else. Appearance and general coolness are the last things I take into account when selecting my next set of shades. Almost all of my sunglasses have a full wrap, which certainly isnt cool. Some are passable...
On Strike: Iconic Ski Resort Closes Indefinitely Amid Labor Dispute
In a growing sign of the labor movements rise in the outdoor industry, a strike of the Telluride Ski Patrol has shut down Telluride Ski Resort in Colorado. The unions workers voted to reject the resort owners most recent contract offer on Dec. 8. On Dec. 23, the union announced that with 99% of its members voting yes, it would...
The F-150 of Flannels: MuskOx Field Grand Flannel Review
If I asked you to think of what a flannel is, most would likely think of a soft, chunky cotton shirt with a bold plaid pattern. No snaps. No eccentric trim. No handcrafted embroidery. It’s a white Ford truck with heated seats. It’s not going to blow any doors off. It just “is.” Durable. Capable. Dependable. When conjuring up the...

Gold-Infused, Ultrasonic Duck Plumes: Zenbivy Ultralight Sleep System Promises Warmth & Water Resistance
While some brands are just starting to use Muscovy down in insulated products, Zenbivy has been doing it for years. Massive Battery Upgrade Meets Modern Connectivity: Midland ER310PRO Emergency Weather Radio Review
Growing up in Hurricane Alley in North Carolina, I’ve heard the emergency alert warning tone crackle to life on a weather radio more times than I could count. Midland has always been my weather radio of choice, but I always gravitated toward the simpler models. When my editor dangled the prospect of reviewing the new Midland ER310PRO Emergency Weather Radio...

Where Touring Ease Meets Real Power: Atomic Backland XTD Carbon Ski Boot Review
Relieved. That’s the only word for how I felt the first morning I stepped into Atomic Backland XTD Carbon touring boots ($1,140). After testing many boots that pinched, folded, or left hot spots by the second lap, I slid into these and immediately relaxed. The fit felt dialed without adding a footbed or a single shell punch. That never happens...
