The 2026 Toyota TRD Pro special paint color has just been revealed. This time its a light aqua blue called Wave Maker that will be crashing down on your Toyota dealer in the next few months. While Toyota has had some hits and misses in the TRD Pro palette, this one feels like one of the best.

　　Wave Maker Is the 11th TRD Pro Special Paint Option

　　Even covered in mud, Wave Maker looks great; (photo/Toyota) Toyota started its fun and funky TRD Pro special paint onslaught way back in 2015 with an orange-red called Inferno. That makes Wave Maker the 11th go-around, and this one isnt going to put out the fire that Toyota started with that first bit of flashy paint for its most capable off-roaders.

　　Some of the Pro paint shades, like Voodoo Blue and Electric Lime, have been absolute standouts. Others, like Cement and Mud Bath, have faded into the background. Some of them, like Lunar Rock, even came to market on non-TRD Pro models like the Toyota RAV4 before hitting the brands serious off-roaders.

　　With the 2026 Toyota TRD Pro special paint option, the company wanted to be more extreme. Its last few years had been a little more subdued. So Toyotas CALTY design studio broadened its horizons.

Even its cheapest cars offer solid choices, with a basic Corolla giving you almost a dozen options when competitors let you pick from as few as three. Toyotas fun cars give you even more choices, with bright hues abounding. From the school bus yellow Prius to Wave Maker on Sequoia, the choices at least make the Toyota showroom cheerful.

　　The strong blue will be sprayed on the 2026 TRD Pro models, including the 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia. The 2026 Toyota TRD Pro special paint colors are normally only available for 1 year. That means if you want to make waves, you might want to hurry. The 2026 TRD Pro models start hitting dealers in the fall. This Wave Maker shade will no doubt be popular.
