Its rare to find an RV on the floor of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), but the new Evotrex-PG5 fits right in among the latest the tech world has to offer.

This off-road–capable and extremely luxurious travel trailer boasts high-tech features. These include its own electric propulsion system, remote-controlled parking, and a built-in power generator. And, its coming to market in early 2027 with pricing starting at about $120K.

“Our goal with the PG5 was to design an RV that empowers adventurers to explore without compromise. Its self-power generating capabilities and intelligent energy management system provide the comfort, reliability, and control needed for confident off-grid travel,” said Alex Xiao, CEO and founder of Evotrex.

Play All the Power, Any Time, Anywhere The main thing that sets this camper trailer apart from the competition is its EREV (extended range electric vehicle) system. It has an onboard gas-powered generator that helps feed a 43kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery bank, which in turn powers an electric motor that helps propel the trailer.

Not only can this system help propel the trailer down the road, which helps greatly with the tow vehicles efficiency and range, but it can also maneuver the trailer by itself around camp or into tiny parking spaces via a remote.

(Photo/Evotrex) Oh, it also offers up bidirectional charging. This means that the trailer can be used as a power bank to charge up your EV both on the go and at camp. And, the trailer can power your home in an emergency.

Besides the gas generator, the trailer battery is also topped off with a massive 1.5kW solar system and regenerative charging while towing.

(Photo/Evotrex) Travel Trailer Features The Evotrex-PG5 trailer has an adjustable air suspension system. It provides more off-road ground clearance when needed, and a lower, more aerodynamic stance when cruising down the highway. It also has a double-axel design and all-terrain tires.

(Photo/Evotrex) While not a new idea, the fold-down deck on the back of the PG5 is a very cool feature that provides a ton of comfortable outdoor living space. The entire back of the trailer is a single panel that lowers at the touch of a button to create a 43-square-foot deck. This panel can also lower further, creating a ramp for motorcycle loading. An inner panel extends to create a shade structure over the deck.

Think shower, toilet, AC, heat, hot water, and a modern kitchen with a two-burner induction cooktop, convection microwave, and sizable refrigerator. Up front is a bedroom with a queen bed, while the rear dinette converts for additional bedding.

(Photo/Evotrex) Of course, there is also an app to run and monitor everything, and the trailer comes with a tablet running the app. Besides being able to drive the trailer around camp remotely through the app, another cool feature is a full camera system that provides a real-time birds-eye view of the trailer.
