If youve always dreamt of becoming an intrepid Arctic explorer, good news: Fjällräven is opening up applications for its 2026 expedition to the Scandinavian Arctic.
The brand will invite 20 people from all over the globe on the all-expenses-paid journey of a lifetime. Anyone can apply to participate until November 24.
Fjällräven Polar Expedition Storied Swedish outdoor brand Fjällräven will take 20 individuals on a unique journey that spans 7 days — March 27 to April 2, 2026. The 186-mile route begins in Swedish Lapland and ends near the Norwegian fjords; the area is one of Europes largest permafrosts.
Participants will drive their own dog sleds across imposing arctic landscapes. Experts will help teach participants survival skills and how to adapt to this unforgiving tundra.

The company is framing the expedition as an antidote to our screen-centric world.
Extended screentime, smartphone scrolling, push messages, and app notifications are leading to digital fatigue, and in this world, the 300 km dog-sled expedition Fjällräven Polar is a radical antidote. During it, there are no screens, no pings, no ‘noise’ at all. It is just nature and instinct, the brand said in a press release.

It’s an opportunity to inspire people to move with nature — no matter the weather or the conditions, the brand said. The expedition proves that regardless of previous experience, anyone with the right equipment, knowledge, and support can thrive in nature.
How to Apply Anyone over the age of 18 who speaks English can apply. No outdoor or Arctic experience is required, but the brand says that you need to be reasonably fit and open minded enough to be able to manage a pack of sled dogs.

(Photo/Anette Andersson, Fjällräven) The application has two steps. First, fill out a form on the website. Next, post a short video on Instagram or TikTok explaining who you are and what going on the expedition would mean to you. Tag the video with the following: @fjallravenofficial, #FjallravenPolar2026, and #FromHereToPolar2026.
Fjällräven Polar will accept applications until Nov. 24 at 11:59 p.m. CET. It will announce the winners on Dec. 9.
